We sold our house in Kent to relocate to West Sussex, a process which was quite daunting, however, they were supportive through the whole process.

17th Oct 2026 (10 days ago)We chose Hawkesford James to sell our property they were excellent right from the start. After we had accepted an offer Jon suggested a property he thought would suit us they had just signed up. He arranged a viewing before it went on rightmove. It was perfect for us and we made an offer that was accepted.<br>We ended up in quite a long chain, which did have some difficulties at the end.<br>It was made easier by Angela, Connor and Lee. Communication was excellent, they always kept us informed.<br>We would like to thank you all for being so helpful, friendly, supportive and efficient.<br>If selling or buying I would recommend Hawkesford James.<br>.

Bailey Pretlove especially kept in touch regularly and made sure everything went through. When the first property I was going for fell through. They were just as disappointed as me as the seller was not very forthcoming. They found me a property quickly after this. I was very happy with my experience. Thanks Bailey and Molly Cooper for all the hard work and support.- 21st Oct 2026 (6 days ago)I have known Ward & partners as it was known then when I was a nipper wearing shorts ??????<br>So for me it was natural that I would use a long standing and well recognised established estate agent ??????<br>We started the process in March 2026, Wards done their thing, exactly what there expertise is, selling houses. It's now nearing the end of October 2026 and I'm pleased to say it's been sold.<br>Everything has gone smoothly with very little hiccups.<br>All the team at Wards have been absolutely lovely, especially Judy who has given me updates and necessary information as and when.<br>I would whole heartedly recommend Wards if you need to sell your property, they don't hang around ??????

Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
4th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)Rebecca and the team deliver on every element of selling your house , they carried out every viewing as promised , great photography and detail on the process while preparing your house to take to market and always transparent with their intentions and honest with any updates unlike others we had spoken to ,and experienced in the past , we stayed with Woods for a relatively long period whilst selling our house during different and difficult market conditions simply because they deliver all of the above and more . Personally I would recommend Rebecca and the team at Woods to anyone who’s looking for a genuine agent who works hard to achieve your end goal.

Their sales strategy led to 7 offers in one WE, and it wasn’t an easy house to sell either as it had been lived in for 50+ years and had its share of clutter and zero maintenance. We out of all the agents in the area we randomly picked them. They sold our house in 2 weeks. What more can I add Joe Carey is a very confident man and knows his stuff . I /we are just lost for words.
6th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)We have been on the market since last year. We had views but unfortunately there were no serious buyers. Things were getting slow and no secured buyers coming forward. However we received no negative comments regarding our property. As a matter of fact they were all very positive. We decided it was time maybe to change estate agent. We met with Joe Carey one of the Branch Manager and everything changed for us. Joe was so kind, knowledgeable, confident, reassuring and we felt so relaxed that we made the right call. We didn’t stay on the market long enough to get to know him and his team. Joe reassured us that our property would be sold. But we didn’t think within 2 weeks. We just want to thank Joe and Kate and the team for their hard work . We would definitely recommend them. We have so much faith and trust and they just did all the hard work with such dedication. Many thanks to an outstanding team for making us and so many able to start a new chapter in our lives.
