I used Wards of Rainham to sell my property in Upchurch and purchase in another area. The team are professional, courteous, efficient and provide a quality service. In particular I would like to single out Natalie and Alison (Ali) for their input. From day one they were excellent support and genuinely lovely people. They have a natural empathy and also good communicators. I have moved many times but these two professionals have been excellent and a pleasure to deal with.

Wards in Rainham have been exceptionally helpful in finding us a home. They have been very proactive by informing us of any new properties that they feel would suit our needs and requirements. Especially Ali who listened to what we wanted and what feeling we wanted to be able to picture us sitting with a cup of tea watching call the midwife. I started the process of selling and purchasing my property at the start of 2024.
Darren came and valued my house. He was very polite and respectful of my home.
He explained everything to me from the process and cost of selling my home.
We used their photographer had photos taken and got it onto Rightmove and the Wards website within a few weeks. Everybody in the office had something to do with sale of my property. They were all very kind and understanding of one of the most stressful things I’ve had to do. They were always at the other end of the phone if I need them which I did on many occasions! We used their solicitors who did get the job done. They sold my property quickly and efficiently kept me updated every step of the way and reminding me of all my options at every step. I would highly Wards of Rainham.

We’ve recently moved into our dream home, which without the professionalism from the team at Wards Rainham wouldn’t have been achievable.
Despite the long and complex chain which involved vendors moving to various other parts of the Country; Darren, Ali, Judy, Natalie and Morgan worked extremely hard in order to ensure that we achieved completion on our sale and purchase.

I’ve used Wards in Rainham many times to both buy and sell properties.
I contacted Wards to sell my last property to which their Sales Manager, Natalie Jerram came round to talk me through their selling process and fees.
I found Natalie to be exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Needless to say, due to Natalie’s sales approach, I signed the contract that day.
Wards kept me constantly updated throughout the sale of my property and were diligent when chasing up solicitor for information and progress reports.
I’d fully recommend using Wards to anyone selling or buying a property.
Natalie is a real credit to Wards in Rainham.

Natalie's service from the start has been nothing but bubbly and friendly. My boyfriend and I have just bought our first home that was shown by Natalie, who gave us all the information we needed to reassure us on the property. Such as the fixture in the dining room ceiling, and the pipe work in the downstairs bathroom. She's been ace at communicating with myself and the seller, who's given us reassurance on the property. She's also given us references on whom Wards work alongside with to get things sped up. Do not use Wards, simply use the Robinson Michael and Jackson estate agents next door.
Wards were in regular contact whilst they were trying to get me to put my house on the market with them. The second I put my house up with them, the contact stopped!
They didn't even contact me for days to let me know that they had received a full asking price offer on my house. The only way I found out was because I called the receptionist to find out if they had any more viewings arranged. She advised me then and there that there was a full asking offer which was sat on the system for over a week.
My buyer later told me that she nearly went elsewhere as she was advised that I wasn't coming back to her on the offer so assumed I was not interested. I was interested and did sell to her in the end as the only reason I learnt I had an offer is because I phoned to see if there were any viewings. LOL!!! I have to laugh otherwise I would cry!
On moving day, I went to collect my keys from RMJ next door. They made no money from me but congratulated me and provided me with a box of goodies.
I then went into Wards who have made money from my sale. Not even a congratulations. Instead we was met my a woman who didn't even say hello, simply told us she would not accept our keys and we needed to drop them to our buyer. (Even though we was told to bring them down :S) The rudeness was a joke so I simply left the keys with them)
One thing I must say is that Judy Day of Wards was brilliant. She was the only person at Wards who seemed to care. She is everything that everyone at Wards should aspire to be like. Everyone else there was incapable and did not care about the customer once they won the business.
AVOID WARDS LIKE THE PLAUGE!
Wards - Give Judy a pay rise and let her run the company as she would do a better job than anyone else there

The offer was not emailed me the day you received it and was not discussed with me for over a week so that is an out right lie. Not much more I can say to this.
I did not get a moving in pack. Just an earful from someone working at Wards about how they would not accept the key that they asked me to bring an hour earlier :S and said I needed to drop it off.
Your response about the offer being made to me is a complete lie lol
Obviously you pick and choose who gets the moving in packs ha!
I couldn't care less about a moving in pack, I was just explaining the contrast between RMJ (who care) and Wards (who dont)

We recently sold an investment property through the Wards Rainham branch and the first class service that we received was outstanding. We sold the property within a week with an Open Day and achieved the asking price that we hoped we would!!
Dealing firstly with the branch manager Darren who gave us some very good advice of how was best to sell the property and the rest of the team were there every step of the way, including Ali, Natalie, Morgan, Clare and Judy who progressed the sale to completion within a speedy time frame.

We had a great experience with Wards Rainham and especially Judy. We was buying a house but had funds coming from another sale which unfortunately was through Purple Bricks. They were so bad that im going to refer to them as PB throughout this review. I would not recommend PB as i cant explain how bad their incompetence/attitude/professionalism was. Judy was very helpful in getting information and helping us get our first house. She made PB do their jobs and some, she went well above and beyond and made the experience of buying our first home as pleasant as possible considering the circus PB had us part of. If i ever buy or sell again i would be going to Wards straight away and would highly reccomend them to anyone needing an estate agent.

To say we are happy with Wards estate agents in Rainham couldn't be further from the truth! They are dishonest, they do not communicate with each other let alone their clientèle and have caused my elderly mother unnecessary stress and anxiety ending in her house

Having previously used other Wards branches, I was very sceptical. However the care and service provided by Rainham was absolutely amazing. Every member of staff was so attentive and invested in finding us the right home. Ali and Hannah knew exactly what we wanted and went above and beyond, telling us if a property was not what we were looking for and called us up to tell us of properties coming on the market that may be suitable. The property we bought is one that we would not have viewed had Hannah not prompted us - she just knew it was the one for us and called right away, and she was right. We are so grateful to her, if she had not insisted that this was the one for us, we would probably still be looking. My husband and I are relocating from the South West of England to Kent. We're not young things, this move has been in the planning for some years, we are moving to be nearer family and friends, this is a huge deal for us. I'm writing a review as a buyer of a property purchased through Wards Estate Agents. We did not market our own property through them.
Our sale/purchase has been very difficult from the start due to outside factors with our sale. I don't think we would have got to where we are without the diligent help of Judy from Wards.
She has been involved in helping the sale and purchase go through right from the start. She has chased solicitors and builders numerous times for us, and done so with humour, positivity and professionalism.
I don't doubt for a second that without the help of Judy we wouldn't have exchanged contracts on our home today.
You can tell as a customer that Judy loves her job, and she is extremely good at it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wards Estate Agents based on the service of Judy alone. Whatever you pay her it is not enough :-)
She has been incredibly supportive of my husband and I as frontline NHS workers during a difficult time with the pandemic. When it has been difficult for us to chase things ourselves, Judy has stepped up and helped up out. She has always had our best interests at heart, and has explained the process every step of the way.

They are the best team! Darren Williams, Ali Jenkins, Libby Peek, Connor and Steven Longuet! From the start of our selling process we were given the best customer service experience possible. From the point of signing our home up for sale with Darren, to arranging viewings at our home with Ali and Connor, to getting our mortgage advice for our dream home with Steven and then Libby was on the phone and email with all the time with updates from all parties to how the sale and purchase were progressing. Each one of these people were so supportive in the whole process but receiving a wonderful welcome to moving into our dream home! Being a first time buyer the thought and process of buying a house is a daunting one. The staff at wards Rainham could not have been more fantastic and made the whole process an exciting time. Darren Williams helped us to find our lovely first house, answered any queries we had and was always easy to get hold of. Any questions we had with regards to the process Ali Jenkins answered very efficiently for us and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you both for the help in getting us into our first home.

Wow what can I say the Rainham Wards branch are amazing. I initially thought I would put my house up for sale with Purple Bricks due to cheapness, however after meeting with Darren the Branch manager I totally changed my mind and decided I wanted wards to be my estate agent. I was so right to do this!
The service I received was amazing, the pictures of my house were fab, Ali and Connor both booked in lots of viewings for me before my house was even advertised on rightmove. Within a week my house was Sold.The sale went through very smoothly we used wards solicitors Martin Tolhurst and they was also brilliant. About 8 weeks from putting my house up for sale we completed. I would not hesitate to recommend the rainham branch they are all great at what they do.

Due to my mums work commitments she asked me to organize a valuation for our house. I looked at multiple companies and chose to go with Wards. I came in contact with Connor who has been extremely helpful and polite throughout, and recently booked our family a viewing at a house we liked. So thankful for his help and honesty.

He is able to manage customer's anxieties and available at the end of the phone always. He is also very helpful in explaining the processes as we are first time buyers.
