   Our Home-Buying Journey – Zoe & Family ????????<br><br>I bought my first home in 2009, and over the years it has been filled with so many special memories. My children have grown, I’ve grown, and life has changed. With our family’s needs getting bigger, it was time to find a new home that would suit this next chapter of our lives.<br><br>We found that home through Nest, and then came the decision to put our own property on the market. Belle and Sara were fantastic from the start. They were professional, supportive, and made sure the photographs showcased all the hard work and love I had put into my home. The property was on the market and sold within a week!<br><br>This then created a chain of six properties. At this point, Nest had delivered everything we had initially agreed, and the legal process began.<br><br>Now, if you love efficiency, getting things done, and knowing where you stand, the legal side of moving house will certainly test your patience! ?????? It’s a long, drawn-out process, and “just hold tight” is much easier said than done.<br><br>My tip for first-time buyers? Keep chasing your solicitor! Regular check-ins are essential, as the process can take up to 16 weeks, sometimes longer. I was sitting at six months with my mortgage offer nearing its expiry, and we were still trying to get everything over the line.<br><br>This is where Nest really went above and beyond. The team didn’t just sit back and wait for things to happen. They were dedicated, proactive, and genuinely committed to helping us get our chain completed. Communication was key, and they had the ability to pick up the phone, speak directly to the people involved, and push for progress when things had stalled.<br><br>The legal process can be frustrating, especially when you feel that time is running out. My biggest lesson is to stay involved, keep asking questions, and don’t be afraid to challenge your solicitor when you need answers.<br><br>I cannot thank Sara, Debbie, Kerry, and the whole Nest team enough. We have finally EXCHANGED! ????????????<br><br>While I was in Egypt, anxiously waiting for news and worrying about my mortgage offer, Sara personally called me with the good news.    We recently sold my parents' home through Homemove, and the service we received from Ben Sales and Charlotte was outstanding from start to finish. Ben was fantastic throughout the process. He spent a great deal of time with my mum and dad, carefully explaining everything and making sure they understood each stage of the sale. What really stood out was the respect and patience he showed them. Unlike some other agents we met, who directed their questions to me rather than my parents, Ben always made them feel involved, listened to, and valued, building that trust was really important to my parents (and to myself) to ensure they felt as comfortable as possible in what is a stressful time. Charlotte, our Sales Progressor, was equally brilliant. Her communication was excellent throughout, and she worked tirelessly to keep things moving. She was constantly chasing updates from solicitors, other estate agents, our buyer, and all the various parties involved, keeping us informed every step of the way. Selling a property that our family has lived in for 50 years has been incredibly stressful and emotional, but Ben and Charlotte made the whole experience so much easier with their professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for their clients.
