Deborah and the entire team were consistently helpful, responsive, and genuinely supportive whenever anything came up. It makes a world of difference dealing with people who treat you with respect and handle matters promptly and professionally. I’m grateful for the way everything was managed from start to finish. Highly recommend Priory to anyone looking for a reliable and well-run agency.
1st Apr 2021 (4 years ago)Smashing bunch of people. So helpful and passionate about selling homes, and people for houses. They couldn’t have done more during and after a viewing; and are genuinely interested in longterm positive relationships with clients. I found them lovely and so nice. Very professional and supportive. They went well beyond in their kindness, good wishes and help with a new home after purchase.
20th Nov 2025 (17 weeks ago)We are still mid missives, moving towards exchange of contract day, but so far, it's all been good. I was selling on behalf of my brother with dementia, but they were very understanding and helpful. Advertising etc was good - it was not an easy property to sell, but they did it. All communications have been clear and good. I only did 4 stars for value for money as we are yet to see what the final costs will be. Nonetheless, as I live far away, it was important to have someone deal with everything, swiftly, simply and with clarity.

From communication through the entire process, arranging the home report and photographs, and the negotiations with our buyer I cannot recommend them enough. My property was on the market for 7 days before we exceeded the expected offer. Highly recommend, Rob & Karen brilliant.

6th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back
12th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Would give 0 stars if I could, don’t go to them if you are thinking of renting through them, don’t go to them if you consider putting your property up for rent, don’t go to them if you want up to date emergency numbers for basic issues like plumbing, don’t go to them if you have a door handle that’s come off of a bedroom door and is now a fire safety issue (they still haven’t fixed it since first reported over 6 months ago), don’t go to them if you have any issues with a ceiling caving in thanks to a raw sewage leak (took about 40 days in all) nor don’t go to them about other people causing issues for you, as they refuse to deal with it, even if they have a duty of care for tenants suffering with said issues, or even investigate it for that matter. Might need the landlord to change letting agencies as these guys are utter clowns, dismissive and condescending. months of garbage from them.

Our sale has been difficult for a variety of unforseen reasons but Wendy has led us through it with determination, along with great communication. She has kept both sides fully informed right from the beginning and ensured a good outcome through sheer hard work. I would derfinitely recommend Gibson Lane for buying or selling a property.
5th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)Graham and Sibbald have been our landlords property management company for over 10 years and we have just been taken over by Westport property Dundee - and I must say the best Christmas present I could ask for. Graham and Sibbald have managed 4 units of family run businesses and have been useless. Emails have been ignored now for months from all 4 tenants. We have all had to close our businesses on numerous occasions as the roof on the building is needing replaced and we are constantly flooded. The car park has no working lights as been reported numerous times with no reply. The stairs to the property are all loose - again reported numerous times with no reply. Front window was smashed in, they charged our business for the repair only to be informed but our insurance that the landlord is responsible for glass repair - we were only given 2/3 of the cost back as said they could have found someone cheaper. 3 days with Westport property and the roof is being replaced next month, lights are replaced , stair been repaired - professional and efficient customer service - highly recommend Westport property if you need your property looked after properly and to have happy loyal tenants- 5th Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)We engaged with Strutt and Parker, because I liked Hamish’s no nonsense approach and his approachable style. Nothing has been too much trouble for Hamish or Amy. And they have made a difficult sale in a challenging market as stress free as they could. Whether it be show clients round, pick up keys, or give advice. The handholding when I was an overly anxious seller waiting for missives to conclude was second to none. Amy in particular shone at making sure I was 100 percent in the loop and clear about next steps. I am very happy that I made the right choice when I picked Strutt and Parker to be our agents.
