3rd Jul 2026 (2 days ago)The agent took 6 months to sell one of the two properties I had. I spent a lot of my time chasing him up for information and feedback. He had failed to advise about writing into the sales schedule, no guarantees. This cost my £3000 payment to the buyer for a new boiler. He sold the property at home report value, which I'd agreed completely unaware of the additional costs I'd be paying. The second property did not sell. I discharged this estate agent and went with a different estate agency. Within two weeks of them marketing the property, three viewings resulted in two second viewings and an offer accepted. When I wrote a review, to prevent anyone else experiencing such unnecessary stress and negative financial impact, he responded with it was my fault for insisting on doing the viewings. Oddly enough, as my son is a vulnerable adult, I continued with the viewings after changing estate agents and behold the property sold!
16th Jun 2026 (19 days ago)SBK have been excellent throughout. Andrew and Andy (even making their names easy) have been super; giving clear guidance, efficient processes and keen attention. Within a week we had photos and floor plan completed and the following week over 10 viewings and an offer within two days. We have been particularly impressed with clear and prompt communications and found the online Street App very easy to use. Everyone at SBK have been friendly and positive and helpful. Thank you

11th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)AVOID CONNELLS AT ALL COSTS I am receiving passive aggressive emails from Connells 5 years after they made my house purchase 10x harder than it needed to be despite being told my information had been removed from their databases in line with GDPR regulations- clearly they cannot even manage that. As a first time buyer I was given a terrible deal as I unfortunately did not know any better- if you are a first time buyer, or really any buyer, AVOID CONNELLS. EDIT 17/3/26 - you’ve replied telling me to get in touch to make it look to people like you’re doing something about this but you have now not replied to my email. Again, Connells cannot manage the most basic of tasks - do not involve them in your purchase/sale/rental of your house. Edit 1/6/26 still no reply, avoid this company. 11/6/26 I have received another email reminding me to renew my mortgage, clearly GDPR means nothing to this company. I still have not received an email which I was promised in reply to this review.

Even had home deliveries on some occasions! Thank you both Henry and Paul for all your help over the past 3 years, much appreciated and will definitely come back to you should the need arise.

19th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)Sarah Garland was the agent and from the very start I had confidence in her. Nothing was too much trouble. I was selling the house on my own and she was very helpful and kind throughout something you don't always find with an Estate Agent.

She was knowledgeable in showing us around the property we eventually bought and kept in touch during the lengthy conveyancing process. And on the day we moved in, she went the extra mile to ensure our removals men and ourselves didn't wilt on the hottest day of the year. A joy to know and work with.

27th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We don't leave many reviews but selling your home as everyone knows is stressful , throughout the whole process James was professional, calming and and at every stage reassured us of the sales progression . On a personal note James is a lovely guy and is passionate about your property and property in general , he has brilliant local knowledge and he does the viewings himself which is critical as he becomes very knowledgeable about your home and you are not getting multiple people doing the viewings who aren't totally invested. We highly recommend James as your estate agent it's an easy five stars from us Paul & Carol ?????

Our offer was accepted 5 weeks ago and we are now ready to exchange, thanks to Bianka’s hard work, great communication and proactivity. Shaun arranged our mortgage. He was patient, knowledgeable and advised us in the best way he could to secure the best deal for us. We thank the whole team for their commitment in orchestrating our move. We will recommend Connells to all our friends. We found the whole team very friendly and professional.
