8th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.
10th May 2021 (5 years ago)Appalling experience, don't use these agents. No due diligence, no clear information, no urgency in anything they do. I've gone with other agents now having wasted 4 months on what should have been a straightforward no chain sale.

They organised a successful open day with a lot of serious viewings helped along by Steve who was great, particularly with my elderly mother in situ!<br><br>We were amazed at how quickly the offers came in and secured and we were kept up to speed all through the process via Aiden .<br><br>So all in all an excellent experience, still ongoing, with Connells Horley that I couldn’t ask for more from.<br><br>Thank you everyone.

Although I ultimately decided not to purchase in Reigate, her knowledge of the local area was exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the travel links to London, local amenities, and the wide range of activities and opportunities available.<br>Her customer service was excellent throughout and she was always helpful, professional and genuinely interested in finding the right property for me.<br><br>If I am ever in a position to purchase another property in the area, I would have no hesitation in asking for Katarina personally to help me again. They conducted viewings with great professionalism and kept us regularly informed of feedback. John Ryan in particular was always an encouragement to us when offers did not materialise. Once an offer had been received, Mark was a great help in negotiating a reduction on our new-build home. Overall, an excellent experience with the service promised at the outset delivered all along the way. The second sale was slightly more difficult but a good result was achieved.<br><br>Throughout these processes Hound & Porter kept strictly within professional boundaries, but pushed hard on our behalf.<br><br>We would not hesitate to use them again !
