It is hard to know where to begin. I found the attitude of the senior staff at the Banstead office to be arrogant, misogynistic and bombastic. Despite often making major errors such as leaving the back door unlocked after a viewing or leaving lights on in the house so when it got dark the house could be seen from outside or on one occasion leaving the list of the day's viewings for the agent with names, addresses, emails, key codes and price limits on my breakfast bar- there was little or no humility or apology but rather a feeling that they were always right. They tried to pressurise me into reducing the price after just 3 weeks despite it being the middle of August and when they gave information to my ex husband that was not helpful I phoned to state it had caused an issue and they said, "It isn't my fault you are going through a messy divorce". They lacked all compassion, care and professionalism. I will never recommend them or go into their office ever again. It is interesting to note that when the house did sell it was not them that showed them round but myself (as it was a Sunday) and if it hadn't been for the estate agent I was buying from (Andrews) being so brilliant chasing up and down the chain I honestly think we still wouldn't be moved now.

Communication was a struggle. Agents did not listen to my requests. Viewings were not fruitful. Took months to get an offer.

I felt very positive with my dealings with Williams Harlow - the valuation seemed appropriate and I was provided with good advice at different stages of the process. I was away during the viewing and offer stages and these went ahead smoothly resulting in a number of offers, one of which was very good and we accepted. Their communication while we were away was also great. The sale went forward smoothly and our only very slight gripe was that we found it more difficult to speak to someone once the sale was agreed and going through. Overall very happy to recommend.
