16th May 2026 (23 weeks ago)Had Garnham H Bewley provide me a valuation not knowing what my house was worth after 15 years here and after some recent upgrades carried out. Very knowledgeable of the local area, on what my house was worth and what it would likely sell for. If I do decide to move I’ll definitely use them in the future. Very friendly, enthusiastic but not pushy like other agents.
26th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)Overcharged me commission and vat on what they had valued my property at and not what they had sold it at Plus charged me for money laundering checks which I had already paid solicitor... I did not agree this. I have never heard of any one paying commission and vat on what the house is valued at if they sell it at a lower price you should pay commission and vat on what it is sold out... Have called several times to speak to branch manager he is always in a meeting.. Jack has not had decency to call me or reply to my emails... One very unhappy customer who is out of pocket
15th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)We didn't sell, had hardly any viewings. They said the market was bad at the moment which may have been the case, but it was more the lack of communication that made us decide to try someone else.

Having provided her with the relevant criteria for the type of property that we are interested in, she quickly responded with details of a number of properties, two of which we have already viewed. Maggie also has excellent communication skills, and we look forward to receiving details of other possible properties in the future.
