Ashtons had let this property for over 20 years so were the obvious agent to sell it. Yet they significantly over valued it and had zero market intelligence. A similar house two doors down went on the market after ours at a substantially lower price. They didn’t even notice. Nor when it sold or what it sold for. That was all done my myself. They couldn’t justify the reasons for the valuation. They handed keys to the property to me without even asking my name. never mind for ID. They really just couldn’t be bothered and didn’t act on any feedback we gave them. Very poor service.... Read more

I found Simon to be extremely amiable and accommodating but, I am afraid the communication afterwards was poor. The very few conversations we had were predominantly instigated by me. We only had one viewing which I was told was because the market is slow. I am not sure how proactive Simon was with trying to sell my property.
