On behalf of my son Richard…..I was new to buying a property and Hope at Stephensons was the Estate Agent for the sellers. My own online solicitor and the vendors solicitor were quite slow to the point my mortgage offer was only valid for 6 months (took 5 months 2 weeks to completion). To be honest without Hopes additional work over and above working tirelessly with both sets of solicitors I think I would have lost the house purchase. Hope was so helpful and patience with me when I was getting no updates from my own solicitor. Hope went above and beyond her own job description. We used Paul recently to sell our house. From the valuation right up until moving day Paul was there for support. Paul valued our house fairly and sold it on the first day of viewings. Paul is set apart from other local agents because he is available at the peak times when people aren't at work such as weekends and evenings for viewings. He is also available at any point to discuss any concerns or answer questions. He kept us updated all the way through and really kept everything moving. I found Simon to be extremely amiable and accommodating but, I am afraid the communication afterwards was poor. The very few conversations we had were predominantly instigated by me. We only had one viewing which I was told was because the market is slow. I am not sure how proactive Simon was with trying to sell my property.
