26th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)Ashtons had let this property for over 20 years so were the obvious agent to sell it. Yet they significantly over valued it and had zero market intelligence. A similar house two doors down went on the market after ours at a substantially lower price. They didn’t even notice. Nor when it sold or what it sold for. That was all done my myself. They couldn’t justify the reasons for the valuation. They handed keys to the property to me without even asking my name. never mind for ID. They really just couldn’t be bothered and didn’t act on any feedback we gave them. Very poor service.

The initial valuation was informative, honest and collaborative, and helped us figure out the best asking price for the current market. When we moved forward, we were impressed with the photos, communication and prompt booking of viewings. We received timely feedback after each viewing, and everything was arranged with no hassle. When offers came in, the team helped us communicate with interested buyers and get the best possible price.<br><br>Sam in particular has been fantastic throughout. He supported us through viewings, discussions about offers and any queries that came up during the sale. He kept us updated regularly and was happy to chase solicitors and others to keep the process moving through to exchange and completion. Having a WhatsApp group was great too, as we had direct contact with Sam throughout.<br><br>Your Move helped make the process as stress free as possible, and we’re really happy we went with them!

5th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We encountered repeated issues with attention to detail, including property photographs requiring multiple rounds of correction due to obvious editing errors and eventually having to re-photograph the property. On more than one occasion, viewings were not properly prepared, curtains were left closed in a bedroom and there was confusion over access despite key locations having been provided, . We were also made aware that a viewer was left waiting outside because the agent arrived late to the appointment. While the manager responded professionally and apologised when concerns were raised, the overall experience left us feeling that greater organisation, communication and attention to detail were needed.
