27th Sep 2026 (30 days ago)We had to sell our dad’s house in order to pay for his care home fees after our mother passed away, as she had been his carer. So naturally, it wasn’t a great situation for us to be in.<br><br>We asked Connells to come and value the house so we could put it on the market. Sophie came out to the house knowing our situation and was professional, understanding and respectful throughout the whole process.<br><br>Connells found us a buyer very quickly. Although the buyer’s solicitors weren’t the fastest, Maddy kept us updated throughout and never seemed to mind me contacting her for updates.<br><br>Selling a house is always stressful, especially in circumstances like ours, but Connells made the whole process much easier and a lot less stressful than it could have been.<br><br>10 out of 10 in every aspect. I would definitely recommend them.

13th May 2025 (1 year ago)The Fee was higher than shown on the Get Agent website as they have a minimum charge, which the website failed to display. The gents service was very efficient and I would recommend them
7th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)After a difficult experience with another local estate agent, Bradley’s stepped in and guided me through the successful sale of my property. At one stage, it even looked like the sale might need to go through my previous agents, but Bradley’s continued to put my best interests first - offering honest advice that could have cost them their own commission. I can’t recommend Isaac, Kelly, and the entire Bradley’s team highly enough for their professionalism, integrity, and support throughout the process.

13th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Recently brought a property after moving areas and the whole process with Fulfords was a smooth as can be.<br><br>James was super friendly and welcoming from the 1st viewing to exchange. Was really easy to talk to and knew alot about the surrounding area.<br>Cant reccomend them enough and should we decide to move on, Fulfords St Budeaux would be our 1st call.<br><br>Thank you to James and the team for making the move really smooth and being supportive.

23rd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Not brilliant at updates. Property sold within 3 days so maybe undervalued? All solicitor recommended by them turned out to be on line from wales so very difficult for updates. Money kept back without clear reasons why although eventually paid

22nd Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)After recently selling my house through Luscombe Maye, I can honestly say that Rebecca and the whole team went above and beyond what you would normally expect from an estate agent.<br><br>The communication throughout was excellent, which was particularly important during what became a very long and stressful process. Nobody likes being kept in the dark, and Rebecca and the team were always proactive in keeping me updated and chasing buyers, solicitors and the other estate agents involved in the chain.<br><br>There were several points where I genuinely thought the sale might fall through, and if it wasn’t for Rebecca and the team’s persistence, hard work and determination, I doubt I would have got to completion.<br><br>A huge thank you to everyone at Luscombe Maye for all your hard work, patience and support. It really was appreciated, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.

29th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)Avoid this Lettings agency at all cost, they do not keep up to date with legal requirements for rental properties eg; provision of carbon monoxide alarms etc. Communication extremely poor or non existent. They will not repay your deposit back at the end of the tenancy. Had to get a statutory declaration signed by a local solicitor and sent to the Deposit Protection Scheme in order for the deposit to repaid in full.

I never felt that she was simply passing information from one person to another. She listened, understood the situation and actively tried to move things forward.<br>There were times when simply receiving a call from Carolina and knowing that somebody was actually looking into things made the whole situation feel much more manageable.<br>She combines professionalism and efficiency with genuine kindness and human understanding, and that is something you don’t forget.<br><br>I’m incredibly grateful to both Gemma and Carolina. I knew nothing about estate agents or the value of my mothers property but our daughter had recently bought a house via Mayers and said that they were good. We looked up and down the street and out of 5 estate agent boards that were visible 4 were from Mayers. So, with 1 personal recommendation and 80% silent recommendations we decided to go with Mayers. We weren't disappointed. As an aside, during the selling process we had reason to meet our buyers. They also had nothing but praise for Mayers.
