11th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)My experience of buying a property marketed by DOMVS has been excellent from start to finish. The viewings were conducted by Imogen who was helpful, knowledgeable and quick to get answers to supplementary enquiries about the property, showing that she also had a good rapport with the vendors. Following on from the process of offer to acceptance, again remarkably smooth, the internal communication within DOMVS ensured that the sales progression team of Marcus and Nicky were able to help facilitate a speedy and smooth process leading to a successful exchange of contracts. I would say overall that DOMVS’ strengths lay in very good, timely communications (both internal and external) and a professional, helpful relationship with both seller and buyer. Well done and thank you!- 3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)We used Domvs - Preston to buy a bungalow in Weymouth and we are very happy with their service. Christina showed us round a few properties we had seen on Rightmove but the property we purchased was one Christina recommended we viewed after we had let her know about our situation. As we progressed towards completion Nicky really helped to push things along for us and keep us posted with progress. The team were all polite and friendly we are grateful for their help and would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a reliable Estate Agent.

He's answered every question I've had, explained everything in detail and has kept me updated the whole way through. Everyone in the office has been very welcoming and polite too - I would definitely recommend.

2nd May 2025 (10 mo. ago)I was very pleased with the service provided by my estate agent. Their local market knowledge was excellent, and the valuation of my property proved to be spot on. The advertising was professional, with great photography and well-handled viewings, helping the sale progress smoothly. I felt the service was good value for money, and overall performance was strong throughout. The only reason I haven’t given five stars across the board is due to occasional delays in communication, though when contact was made, the responses were helpful and professional.

5th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)A big thankyou to Richard for all his help, advice, knowledge and understanding during our Bungalow purchase through Connells of Weymouth. Unfortunately, we had to withdraw from the purchase due to unforeseen circumstances. Richard is a credit to Connells and when we return to the housing market in the future, we will be heading straight for Connells and hopefully Richard.

16th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Very poor service and a lack of respect and professionalism. We left Oxford having made an appointment to view a property, Georgina was fully aware of our travels and commitment. However having sat outside the property for over 30 mins we decided we needed to eat and walk the dog. On returning home there was an email to say they did not have the staff. We travelled 136 miles, they had to walk 500 yards! I politely requested a contribution towards our fuel costs, not out time, distress or inconvenience, just our fuel. Not even the decent thing and reply. It is my intention share this feedback on other sites locally.

Communication was excellent — I was kept informed at every stage and progress was consistent throughout. I can confidently recommend Sean and his team. They keep everything on track with professionalism and efficiency.
10th Oct 2025 (23 weeks ago)Really bad experience. They completely misrepresented the property we were purchasing, saying that "all let's and pets" permitted. Turned out that neither was true, and even when we initially queried it following a response from our solicitor was assured that deeds of variation were in place to allow both. Untrue. When we withdrew from the sale and wrote a letter of complaint to them, they didn't even bother to respond. Avoid
19th Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)We purchased a property through Lloyds in Lilliput. Julia was amazing. She was incredibly helpful, approachable, understanding, and very professional. Julia even went out of her way so my parents could look around the property prior to our completion to settle their curosity, and she was delightful and patient with my elderly father. She even went out of her way to help us with a legal aspect to speed us up on completion day. Even after we completed she kept in touch and genuinely seems to care about people.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Although we weren’t his clients, we still felt like he cared and would always endeavour to respond to any queries or concerns we had. Stuart was a superstar through out the process and worked tirelessly to support the seller and indeed us and ensured the sale progressed as expected. He performed viewings without fault, went above an beyond and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Sadly we bought our forever home so we may not be using him anytime soon ????. Thanks Stuart.

They are all professional, punctual and not afraid to pick up the phone and tell you how it is, which is a massive plus! I was advised to get in touch with them after being massively let down by another company and the difference in quality of service has been night and day! If you want to deal with genuine people who get the job done then give these guys a go! I have always been told that selling your house is supposed to be one of the most stressful things to do but I haven't found anything to be stressful with these guys, especially given how average the market is at the moment! 5* service, highly recommend!
9th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Over the last year I have had experience of dealing with around 30 estate agents along the South Coast of England, a number of which were located in Weymouth. Out of all of those companies, Gabby from Beaumont Jones was the most proactive and friendly member of staff who conveyed a genuine interest in assisting me with my property search. She provided regular updates and 'check-in' calls and I'm certain that if I had found a property with Beaumont Jones, the purchase would have been speedy and efficient. I hadn't realised that this was a family run Estate Agency but I'm not surprised. There is definitely a higher level of care and attention to detail than in many of their 'competitors'. Well done and keep up the good work, Gabby!
