Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Updated review Upon leaving the property I was quite annoyed that deductions of £100 were passed to me for the following: - Less than a meter squared area of carpet needed a cleaning extra due to being at the front door. - 4 drops of dirt again needed removing. - the bottom of a cupboard needed wiping. My opinion is this would be 30 minutes work and no where near £100 worth of cleaning. What was more frustrating was after giving abbot and frost my response saying the cost is too high, I was pretty much ignored (or felt like I was) for 24 hours. I then emailed them again saying I just wanted my deposit back so accept the charge and within minutes it’s processed and they take the deduction. It comes across that they ignore you until you just accept what they state. Which is annoying as they were so good to start with.
