Bought a house at Thurcroft and honestly can’t thank 1stfield properties enough for all the hard work and dedication they’ve taken to get us moved in before Christmas, all staff are lovely and so responsive, received the keys to my first house today and I’m over the moon, Thankyou so so much. Had an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend.

If I could leave no stars I would, Me and my wife went to visit a property in Harthill with a view to renting it on a furnished basis, I have never visited a property as disgusting in my life, if this represents their custodial qualities then I would stay clear, you would have to be very desperate to take on such a property, I fed back my experience and nobody has bothered to contact me

I wouldn’t trust this company! The way they lie, treat and speak to people absolutely disgusting! Was offered a property I applied for then to be called back 10 mins later to say the Lanlord had taken if off the market! Little did they know that I knew the landlords details emailed her and she said this wasn’t true! Contacted them again and they said that there had been some misunderstanding and that they had given it to someone who paid 1 years rent upfront! Then found out that it could be available again in July, called again to have more lies told to me, said they would let me know if the property would become available again, found out from my friend that lives close to the property that the person who paid a year upfront had pulled out and they had given it to somebody else! If you knew the heartache I’ve gone through to get this Property that I loved you would understand my frustration! If you want to rent off a company that lies and deceits then this is the place to go

Disgusting horrendous service by the unprofessional company. Applied for a property which we had viewed, got a call from the agent saying they were offering us the property so we started filling all the relevant details out to be then called back 10mins later to be told we weren’t having it and that someone had paid a years rent upfront. They had been dangled a carrot and took it. We weren’t too impressed but what also didn’t impress us was that over Christmas we looked on the agents website and the available date had changed to July this year 2023. My wife called and got given an excuse of that the property won’t be available on that date it’s just a generic date the system sets up. We have since been told that the original person who had wanted to pay a year upfront has pulled out and they have let the property out to another couple! Disgusting to say the least. I’D BE VERY VERY CAREFUL IF YOU WANT TO RENT A PROPERTY THROUGH THIS COMPANY!

Rented a property through them for 3½ years. When the tenancy has come to an end, they are all for the landlord and not interested in the tenants opinion. Would not recommend renting through them.

Had a house viewing booked.. drive the hour there to find a sold sign up and therefore no one to show us round... Not even the decency to phone and let us know. Wasted a morning because someone couldn't be bothered making a phone call.

I wanted to view a property, the phone was answered (big points for that) by a very helpful woman who sorted me out with a viewing. Seemingly not a glowing report but actually answering the phone then being helpful and patient...that's all I need.

Submitted first offer on a property as an opening bid , I was assured that if someone offered more then I would get an opportunity to increase my offer. However the next conversation informed me that a higher offer had been accepted so very poor on their part and a financial loss for the vendor..

I was advising and assisting my son with an offer and potential purchase of his first home which was being handled by this company. From the start communication with them has been poor, recently the process went to final offers, a process I don't personally agree with, promised contact times and days passed with no response. Numerous calls were made to their office with no answer and messages not responded to. But the thing that prompted me to make this review, was their claim that they had tried to call my son and left messages, a blatant lie. My son is like most 20 somethings his phone is constantly attached to him and he received no calls or messages. I can see why this business has so many negative reviews.

Recently sold a property through 1st Field. Good communication and support from the staff especially Bev. After a frustrating abortive sale due to the buyers pulling out I was guided to the modern method of auction sale through which the property successfully sold at first time of asking. Fully satisfied with the service provided and personable and helpful staff.

Very good Independent estate agents. Couldn't fault Lisa and the first field team. Sold my house for me. Lisa was great. Nothing was ever a problem and always got back to me with the queries I had. Would highly recommend if you was thinking about selling your house. I try and recommend them as much as I can, because of the outstanding service I received off them. Also did a great rate for selling my house. 100% recommend. ????????

Very poor customer service. Never was called back when they said they would. They would let things drag on for weeks without any reply. Wouldnt recommend. Never ever wrote a review before.but felt i had too. After months of being mugged off

Absolutely shocking company. Attempted to arrange a viewing of a property. 2/3 weeks later still no contact. Was told the current tenants were unable to get a hold of (surely the homeowner wanting to sell would step in?) Was asked for my details to put on file as apparently they didn't have them...when I challenged this (I obviously left my details when I called to arrange a viewing) they back tracked and stated that they were double checking my info.
Attempted to view another property (my husband) was told it was under offer, explained we were willing to put a higher offer in and they said 'no we don't work like that' what?! Surely you get the best price for your client?! My husband rang a week later as the property was still listed as on the market to check if it was available, was told yes and booked a viewing. An hour later they rang him back and said 'oh no it is sold sorry' the best of it after the booked viewing we had an email asking how the viewing went and for feedback of the property! Is this a joke?!
I wouldn't recommend them for buying or selling properties as they don't have their customers in their best interests.

Terrible experience. Had to goto a tribuneral to get my bond back which i won i might add.. Property maintenence was a joke. I cannot stress enough to people how bad they are. Read the negative reviews which are the genuine ones.

Couldn't wait to get out of our tenancy. Inspections on the rental every 3/4 months the... Like being at uni again. Rude staff, going back on their word within days of signing paperwork, still using letters as main contact (surely by 2016 when we moved out you'd use email) means waiting forever for anything and only taking cash for deposits (again, it's a small sur charge to use chip and pin....bit weird when exchanging large sums of money). All in all one of the worst places I've rented from.

Initial approach to the agent was not one of warmth and I felt uncertain handing over cash (as the only option presented for payment)
Contract is not very well balanced. There is a real lacking of any outline of landlord obligations.
Communication throughout the tenancy was poor. I raised many issues about maintenance requirements. After several calls and emails, a handyman visited only after 3 months, verified the issues and left never to be seen again. No further contact made.
Bringing the tenancy to a close has proved to be a hostile experience.
