We can’t recommend Redbrik enough. We had our house up for sale last year for 5 months with a different estate agent and didn’t have a great experience, we ended up taking our property off the market and having a break from selling. We have dealt with many estate agents in the process of viewing houses and the only one that stood out for us in terms of customer experience, being proactive, communicative and organised was Redbrik. We were dubious as their fees are one of the most expensive but you really do get what you pay for. We put our house back up for sale with Redbrik and haven’t been disappointed. The marketing was amazing compared to before and really demonstrated our house in the best way enabling us to get 27 bookings for viewings in just 3 weeks. For context last year we had 11 viewing bookings in 5 months. We have sold our house in 3 weeks and had multiple offers, a very different experience to last year. All the team are very honest, helpful, friendly and just genuinely want do their best for the clients. Nothing has been too much trouble, the whole experience so far has been far more pleasant and much less stressful than last time. We have only just sold so are only part way through the process but so far we have been exceptionally happy and would recommend Redbrik to anyone looking to sell their house. The whole team at crystal peaks have been amazing working hard in the background but a special thanks to Nikki, Kathryn, Beth, Tom, Gemma and Tammy as these are the people we have dealt either personally.

I recently purchased a property listed with RedBrik, and unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly negative. From start to finish, the process was marred by misinformation, unnecessary fees, and a general lack of professionalism.
When I first viewed the property, the estate agent showing us around was surprisingly unknowledgeable about basic details. They couldn't answer key questions about the seller’s position, such as whether they had found another property, and later provided us with incorrect information about the property chain. We were led to believe there was an additional person in the chain, which turned out to be false; our seller was purchasing a new build, not a resale property. When we viewed the property again, this time shown around by the seller themselves, we were finally given accurate information about the neighbors and the property’s position. It's concerning when the seller and estate agent are on completely different pages.
RedBrik’s valuation of our property was another disappointing experience. Their agent seemed more focused on upselling their inflated fees rather than offering practical advice. We were repeatedly told about their "special methods" and "lists of interested buyers," which supposedly justified their high fees. However, their so-called "special" marketing is simply listing on RightMove or OnTheMarket, just like every other agent, many of whom charge significantly less.
We decided to make an offer on the property, but were then forced to pay RedBrik’s non-optional “Secure Move” fee of £595. This fee is supposedly designed to secure the purchase and speed up the process, but in practice, it offers very little value. If anyone else in the chain withdraws, you’re left out of pocket with no recourse. It’s a one-sided cost that does little to "secure" anything when other parties aren’t bound by the same terms.
The “benefits” that come with the Secure Move fee are equally disappointing. For example, RedBrik pre-orders property searches, claiming it will save time, but these searches were grossly marked up and failed to provide any advantage. In fact, boundary issues with the property—clearly visible on these searches—were completely missed and took months to resolve. If RedBrik is charging for these services, the least I would expect is proper due diligence, but they failed to catch glaring issues that significantly delayed the process.
The “Secure Move” certificate, another part of this questionable package, has an expiration date indicating when you should expect to complete the sale. Our sale process exceeded this deadline by nearly three months, and when I inquired about this, I was met with a casual “we can extend it,” without any apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused.
RedBrik also assigns a staff member to manage the purchase process, but this service was far from helpful. Their role seemed to consist of calling me to chase my solicitor for updates, only for me to discover that my solicitor had already responded or was waiting on outstanding documents from RedBrik themselves. Despite positioning themselves as intermediaries, they offered no actual assistance in resolving delays and often seemed unaware of what was going on.
When I raised a list of post-completion issues, including problems with the property that became apparent on the day we moved in, RedBrik’s interest vanished. Despite visiting their branch in person and being promised that the manager would follow up, I never received any communication. It became evident that their enthusiasm evaporated the moment we collected the keys.
I would strongly advise potential buyers and sellers to consider other local estate agents who offer much better service at a fraction of the cost.

We recently sold our property through Redbrick estate Agents, we could not be disappointed. They contacted us every time we had a viewing, we were kept up to date after each viewing and the property sold within 4 weeks of it going on sale. Their price to sell might seem a little expensive but it did include the conveyancing fees too, this was great as the solicitors were kept up to speed by Redbrick so no delays and we wasn’t on the phone chasing all the time. Their website is great too as you can keep a check on feedback, offers, etc

They were very professional, always at the end of a phone and if I left a message they got straight back to me.
They did all the viewings of our property and this took a lot of stress out of the sale. I did not have to put time aside for people to view the property and when a viewing took place I got immediate feedback on what the potential buyer had said.

This review is from the perspective of a buyer, not a seller. Redbrik crystal peaks office employs snooty, patronising people that genuinely seem to try to put you off viewing properties with them. If you get so far as to put an offer in, they're even worse! Genuinely was trying to put in an offer over asking price in a better position than the other individual and they turned us down. This has happened twice. So just a warning to sellers to take your business elsewhere if you want to get the best price for your property.

House Sellers Beware!
Lettings fee ban brings cheer to tenants, but Redbrik, believe it or not, charges £175 +VAT (= £210) as a set up fee for house sellers.
I recently spoke to them because I was interested in selling a house valued at £100K. They told me that for a house of that value, the fee would be £1,450 + VAT (= £1,740) BUT from the 1st July 2019 it would be £1,750 + VAT (= £ 2100). Thy even said that they thought it was a competitive and fair price! Is this some kind of a joke? I shall definitely not use these excessively expensive estate agent.
Indeed, it's about time the government did something about the excessive charges that some estate agents make.

I cannot fault the service from beginning to end. The first agent who came to value the property (whose company I cannot name) spent 10 minutes walking round the house, obviously didn't like it and left literature for me to read at leisure. I didn't bother! On the other hand, Michael of Redbrik came to value and spent a great deal of time explaining how the company worked, was enthusiastic about selling my property and inspired confidence that the house would soon sell as they had people on the books ready to buy.
All of the office staff were friendly and helpful. They sent regular emails and phone messages of properties that met my requirements to buy. I was given an agent to look after me personally (Emily) and she was always very helpful and encouraging. I was updated throughout all stages of the sale and Emily was very patient when I became stressed at times!
