Overall good experience. A few times communication has been difficult, waiting for call backs or updates, but generally good, especially within the first few weeks where we had weekly updates. Abode we're very prompt with coming out to value our property, once we'd chosen them, very good photographs were taken and the description was very good. All were sent to us for approval prior to them posting. We always had a phone call about booking viewings with a confirmation email and text. Abode showed people round whilst we went out, but they were more than accommodating with however we wanted to show our home. There was always personal feedback after the viewing. You could call the agents and speak to anyone about the sale if your own agent was busy. We had plenty of viewings, unfortunately the people booking the viewings were waiting to sell their property so weren't in a position to proceed. We had a viable offer within the contract time.... Abode has a good, to me novel, market strategy. Shop window-front displays in key towns are backed up with a manned regional hub. (With on line marketing of course). This means that all members of the team, being in the same office, can communicate with each other directly. And someone is always available to answer the phone. Although I only met my advisor at the hub, I understand that meetings can take place by appointment at the offices behind the shop window-fronts. I consider the valuation was correct and not overpriced (which can lead to unreasonable and disappointing expectations). Overpricing also leads to delays in a sale especially if it has to followed by price reductions. Delays cost money. Instead of boosting the asking price with the intention of accepting an offer, they advised launching at the price wanted and not to consider offers. No more, no less. Pleasant and professional....
