My son has been staying at one of the properties and it has been chaos from the day he moved in. The staff speak extremely disrespectfully and their language and tone of voice is extremely inappropriate. More recently, he reported that the heating hasn’t been working for months now… With us being in freezing temperatures right now, my advice is avoid them at all costs and they are incompetent and will not help or fix anything in a timely manner - at all even.

I have been working with Kylie for the past few weeks. Initially when I contacted her she was personable, direct and clear in what services she and the agency can offer. I told her I needed my property letting asap and gave her a 2 week deadline. Kylie not only got it rented ahead of schedule but kept me informed throughout the whole process which was a big win for me! I can not recommend Kylie enough. Avoid at all costs. Abysmal company. People that will do anything for a paycheck happy to let out properties that aren't safe or up to legal requirements and then do everything in their power to avoid fixing anything. Being a disabled tenant in a house managed and let by bairstow eves was dangerous to my health. The property is currently back up for rent at a higher price, with incorrect information on the listing, old photographs and still not up to a safe living standard. Don't trust any listing's.

Bairstow Eves sales team were great. Keeping us up date with everything. When I spoke especially with Connor he was superb and always passed messages on so professionally and swiftly. An asset to the company. The manageress I think it’s Kerry was a pleasure to deal with.
Once the house had sold we dealt with Molly. She was excellent at first but as time went on we heard less especially with regard to changes such as our buyers mortgage offer running out of time. We only found out because our solicitor told us the completion date was no longer relevant. We hadn’t been told of the suggested completion date or problem by Bairstow Eves. It was not until we emailed Molly that we found it was true. To get any update we had to always email her. Only then did she let us know. Finally on the week of completion taking place we heard from our solicitor. Nothing from Bairstow Eves as you’d expect. The day before completion we emailed Molly after we had gone to the office to drop off keys to the house for the following day. The office staff were lovely but couldn’t find anything about the date being completed on the system for our house we were selling. Molly emailed as usual straight away after receiving our email but was confused about the completion date taking place. She did apologise but we were astounded that only our solicitor was informing us about the date. After she called around the relevant solicitors involved in the sales she also then confirmed. She apologised for the confusion. As customers, paying a large sum of money for this sale we feel let down after the initial sale back in October 24 by lack of communication and the need to ask for any updates even though we asked each time to keep us upto date on any issues. This never happened.
But anyway thanks to Bairstow Eves for completing on the sale.

Just had a great experience with Bairstow Eves - moving between countries isn't easy, but they took away all my worries about finding somewhere to live in the UK as I leave Holland.
Of course their administration is online and electronic, but I found a 'human' touch is still strong with them, and - unlike some Agents I could mention, they ACTUALLY pick up the phone. To me that's very important in any interaction - if you're willing to talk, you're willing to work, and that says a lot these days.
All in all it took just 2 weeks from enquiry to confirmation, and they've been in touch with me every step of the way.

Honestly, out of the 3 estate agent quotes we had they came in as the middle quote for fees. The reason we chose them was down to professionalism, organisation and for their personalities!
Our advertisement on Rightmove was fabulous...We LOVED Brandon's the description as it was unique and innovative !
When moving house its fair to say you go a little crazy as you cant see what people are doing to move things along however, I can say Kerry and Jas ensured we knew what was going on and often included in email trails to quell our anxieties.

It took 12 months to sell my property but this was largely down to a restriction on the property preventing it for buy to let use. Starting off with the positives I must say thank you to Kerry and Brandon who have been great with the service and updates but on the downside the post sales team which I think is manned solely by Gracie is awful. Rarely returned voicemail messages rarely could you get through and no regular updates I don’t feel I had great service but this could be down to the fact she was just too stretched or out of her depth. Would I use them again for another sale I don’t think so.

Being single and self-employed I didn't think that I would be able to find a suitable mortgage, but Simon offered loads of advice and came up with a solution that was perfect for me. They are absolutely shocking!!!!!, been without heating and running hot water for a week in a property they let, the poor owners are also shocked by there behaviour, and the agent sends an email saying " we've been informed your boiler has been repaired". Which idiot reads the emails and responds!!!!! They're a bloody nightmare. Can't thank Bairstow Eves Cannock Branch enough for the help and support they provided me and my husband to sell our property. We nearly decided not to sell but Kerry listened and gave us time and good advice where as other agents didn't seen interested.
Jack came out to see us and value our home, he was very professional but not pushy (which was nice) and made everything seamless and straight forward. Have rented a property through these for many years, the last couple of years the service has gone downhill. 2 young lads ( Harry and Billy) have taken over from the usual girls.
It would seem that they are trying to make a name for themselves by trying to improve the rental figures. In February this year we were served with a section 21 notice to quit. This came as quite a shock as we were 2 years in to a 3 year contract. I contacted the landlord directly about this, he said that Billy had advised him to get rid of us as Billy could get him more rent from a new tenant.
I wouldn’t trust these lads at all.
I will be paying them a visit very shortly now I have all the evidence .

I had a number of Agents value my house, however, Jack stood out from the outset - he was able to answer every question I had, reassured me and most importantly, spoke about the wider team at his office and how they will all work with me to sell my house. That is exactly what happened, Kerry & Emma are brilliant, all round excellent service!!! Have delayed in writing my review not because of the service but because I moved a few days before the lockdown and actually wanted my review to be relevant to those looking to sell/buy through Bairstow Eves.
I can not thank the team at Cannock enough for not only their professionalism when it came to selling my house but also the commitment they showed. My house was in a difficult bracket (£375,000), however I had my first viewer before the pictures had even gone on the internet and my house was brought by my fourth viewer. Jack and Emma arranged all the appointments and completed the viewings and kept me informed on how each viewing went and the feedback.
My property ended up being sold in under three months and I moved out under six months from the date of going on to the market. Jack was a super star working very hard in the background to keep everything going chasing other agencies who were holding things up and having the patience of a saint when my buyer started to become difficult. He is exceptional.
Well done all and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to family and friends

Right. If you don’t read this all you need to know is Jack.B is amazing along with his team!! From searching for a house since Jan 19 to putting in the offer on March 11th to today where the exchange has happened my thanks to Jack.B and his team cannot be said enough!!! And in excitement my first port of call is to give my feedback for Bairstowe Eves Cannock as I planned to do this a while ago but thought I need to wait for the exchange. Jack Brindley has literally gone above and beyond in helping this sale go through.
Initially buying a house I found that estate agents differently, I do get my words muddled especially when anxious so blunt or unhelpful responses did not help. Thankfully, before even seeing this property Jack’s was the person on the other side of the phone and he was warm and helpful in taking my details and putting me on the property search list. From then He listened to what I was looking for and literally emailed and called me with any property which matched or that was slightly different to help open my eyes to different options.
Since my offer was accepted, Jacks support increased where he guided me through everything from the offer acceptance, to instructing a solicitor and now through the exchange.
The seller’s solicitor I have to say have been abysmal. Jack calmly listened to my frustrations and actively took steps to address matters himself which actually should have been tasks the solicitors completed. Jacks drive was purely to getting the sale complete going over and beyond his duties. I had a deadline on moving by the end of July and Jack was updating me daily on what was happening settling my anxieties and frustrations. He was chasing both solicitors and working with the vendors to answer enquiries. His commitment has literally been exceptional, even to the point when I was unavailable, Jack rang me out of his own hours to suit mine.
After months of being pro-active Jack had annual leave for a well-deserved break, but even then he let me know he was handing me over in his absence assuring me matters will still be chased. During his week off he continued to follow the progress which I only came to realise as he contacted me once all enquires were addressed to say congratulations! He literally is amazing at what he does and clearly committed.
I haven’t been easy yet Jack has never raised an issue and has been nothing but professional throughout and honestly if it hadn’t been for his hard work and efforts I would have dropped out due to my own circumstances.
This only negative I can say is Bairstow Eves strongly recommend the solicitors firm who the vendors ended up having and they turned out to be awful with actioning enquiries and communicating. Thank god I didn’t go for it although tempted I was.
For any buyers, picking the perfect house where you have that incredible feeling that you want it as yours, is amazing as it is, but honestly from the moment you contact an estate agents, you will know if they will treat you well if you buy a property through them. Bairstow Eves Cannock has proved this. I cannot say THANKYOU enough to Jack.B! And also Kerry and the his team.

We set Simon off on the task of remortgage very, very happily but then we fell in love with a house and decided to sell and buy. I decided at the start of 2015 to rent out my home. I decided to enquire what Bairstow could offer me. I was very nervous as this was the first time I had ever done anything like this. And the house had been my home for 18 years and I had loads of concerns and questions. I arranged an appointment and met Kylie Turu at the Cannock branch. I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge that Kylie displayed. The whole process was explained in detail and all my questions and concerns were addressed in full. I felt at ease and knew I was placing the management of my house in good hands.
A tenant matching the criteria I had laid down was found immediately and viewings etc arranged. The tenant took up occupancy of my property at the end of April 2015. I have used Bairstow Eves as my letting agent for the past 12 months. I chose them originally as the staff were local people who understood the local market and were able to provide a realistic valuation in terms of revenue (this was not true for some of the other agents who provided estimates).
As a first time landlord I have benefited greatly from the Bairstow Eves as my agent. They have provided excellent advice whenever I have encountered problems and someone has always been available regardless of the day of the week to help. I have found the staff to be very friendly, approachable, reliable and always helpful. The Lettings department have provided advice on AST contracts, legal and mandatory issues for landlords and provided support for showing my property.
I would recommend using Bairstow & Eves in Cannock as a Letting Agent, especially for those in their first lets.
