Overall, we’re satisfied with the service from Balmer & Co. Kieran who first visited our home was very professional and delivered an excellent service. A lot of our viewers advised how the property is a lot better in person than on the listing. They felt the photos on the listing didn’t really do it justice. The communication was really good throughout the selling process. The only thing I would say was that there was sometimes a mix up in viewings being booked for the wrong day or confirmation of viewings being sent by text/email were for the wrong day, but mistakes can happen and these were quickly rectified. Lacking in advertisement avenues left us with 1 viewing in 4 weeks. The excuse they gave us was that our house was priced to high. After we went with another estate agents had 3 viewings booked in on the first day and it sold after 4 days for high than the asking price.... Read more

Balmers lack in avenues to advertise a property on. This showed with the lack of interest we had when we instructed them to sell our home. We had to request for them to put our home on their socials as this and Rightmove were the only place it could be found. After 4 weeks we only had one viewing despite others in our area being sold within a few weeks. Finally after loosing the house we had been wanting we instructed another agent. When speaking to balmers they said they though it was priced to high even though it was them that valued it at the price it was. Within the first day of our house going live with the new estate agent we had 3 viewings booked in and it was our second viewing that made us an instant offer. We sold within 4 days for over the asking price. Choosing the right agent is essential especially if you’re wanting a quick sale. Unfortunately Balmers just didnt seem to have the experience or advertising avenues to get a house sold.... Read more
