Loved using Batchellor Monkhouse to sell my home. I primarily worked with Emily who was super but everyone in the office was always up to speed on developments. Great attention was taken to the photos and listing. All the agents who would show the house came round in advance to get a feel for the place. Tough market and BM delivered. Grade II* listed house with lots of quirks sold and very happy in new home.

I would highly recommend Batcheller Monkhouse based on our own experience. They are a friendly team of knowledgeable and experienced agents. There was always someone really helpful on the end of the phone, even when our lead agent was unavailable. Their communication and response to emails/phone enquiries was excellent - both with us, our buyers and the legal teams. Unfortunately we experienced a fairly difficult journey but I feel that the whole thing might have collapsed had we not had such experienced agents to guide us through it. They were reassuring, patient & tenacious at all times, despite the on-going obstacles our chain faced. Worth their weight in gold and we are extremely grateful for all their efforts.

Absolutely disgusted with my first and last impression with this estate agent. I had no response at all from an email I sent and on calling they acknowledged they had received it but not cared to respond. The gentleman was rude, snobby and very patronising. I enquired about a new property that is not ready for sale but he refused to keep me updated or put me on a waiting list and told me I had to keep a eye on right move if I was interested in this property. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Their fantastic and diligent rental department managed our property for more than 3 years after which their incredible sales team sold it for us. There were complex planning issues related to the sale and in stepped their planning department to resolve these for us! It has been a one stop shop for all our requirements which was so reassuring as they did all of this with us residing in NZ. Prompt, utterly professional and most of all caring. Selling your Home can be a very stressful experience. I should know as I’ve done it 7 times over the last 30 or so years. However Batcheller Monkhouse Haywards Heath were fantastic, making it one of the easiest sales we’ve ever encountered. Firstly, they work as a team, so you can access information and updates when you want them. They keep you informed, which is vital in keeping the stress level to a minimum. Each member of staff I spoke too were approachable and very professional. We were also happy with everything they did to promote our house, we felt they had all options covered. They clearly got it right as the viewers that came to see the house, were the right ones, they were a good fit!
Overall I would say, BM Haywards Heath is one of best agents to employ selling your property.

Standard evil letting agents, moved us into a property with a condemned boiler which duly broke down. We went 5 weeks with nothing but cold water. They blamed the landlord for their incompetence and lied repeatedly. They also claim to only do 12month fixed term contracts with no get out clause even after the first year. Never felt so trapped!
