I have had the pleasure of working with Nick Jones at Bidwells Lettings for the past four years, and I would highly recommend Nick and his team to anyone looking to rent a property. When I moved to the UK over four years ago, I had no prior experience of renting a property here and was unfamiliar with how the whole process worked. From the very first time I met Nick, his professionalism, approachability, and excellent communication made everything incredibly straightforward and reassuring. Over the years, Nick has always been just a phone call away whenever we have needed anything. No matter how small or significant the issue, he has always been approachable, responsive, and genuinely keen to help. Any maintenance concerns or other matters have been dealt with promptly and efficiently by Nick and his team. We can’t recommend the personalised service from Maxine at Bidwells enough. We’d had a disappointing experience on the market with a different agent and re-marketed with Bidwells and the service was exceptional. Maxine provided excellent, fast and clear communication and made the selling process so much easier than we had experienced before. I have worked with **Nick Jones at Bidwells Lettings** for the last five or six years, and I genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough. Nick has consistently found us excellent-quality tenants for our properties, but what really sets him apart is his level of personal service and communication. In a world where it seems increasingly difficult to actually speak to someone, Nick answers his phone. If he can’t, he calls you back — usually the same day — and whenever I need advice or help with one of our properties, he is always there. Nothing ever seems too much trouble. He goes above and beyond, communicates exceptionally well and, most importantly, I trust his judgement. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience with Bidwells. I called to arrange a viewing for a property, provided all my details, and was given a confirmed date and time. The day before the viewing, I checked the property online only to find it had been removed from their website and taken off the market. When I called to clarify, I was shocked to be told that no viewing had ever been booked for me. This level of disorganisation and poor communication is unacceptable. Had I not double?checked myself, I would have turned up to a viewing that didn’t exist. Bidwells’ unprofessional handling of something as basic as a viewing appointment reflects poor communication and zero reliability.... Read more

This company has very poor salesmanship and lacks customer care for sole traders. I looked at a small office space near Charlbury in Oxfordshire to run my small therapy business and instantly felt dismissed by Theo who met me at the property with his assistant Daisy. After opening up the room for me to view he left to deal with another matter, leaving me with his assistant who was lovely, but unable to answer alot of my questions due to her lack of experience. Theo disappeared and I didn't hear from him for any kind of follow up afterwards. I did however like the room and wanted to apply for the tenancy. I put in my application and was told by Daisy that it would be submitted to the landlord and someone would be in touch with the next steps. After almost three weeks of no correspondence I emailed to ask if the Landlord had approved my application and I had no response back. Another week on I decided to call Theo's assistant to get an update and was told that I would be notified once the landlord had received my application. So almost one month on and this hadn't even been submitted to the landlord. I emailed Theo again to say I needed an answer soon otherwise I would have to continue my search for another space. Several days later he responded and informed me that the landlord was yet to make a decision as there were several applications to consider. I feel Bidwells wasted my time and their lack of communication is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Luckily for me I found an alternative space where I am dealing directly with the landlord. If you are a female sole trader don't go near this company as you will be dismissed and have your time wasted.... Read more
