Booked a viewing for a house with molly , showed me around and talked to me about the property and what needs doing/ what’s been done. Told me that if I pay a holding deposit , then could find out if I’m eligible quicker in which I did . Molly rang me straight after I paid the holding deposit and sent me through all the details I needed to fill out for the property straight away .

I went from viewing this property and 3 hours later it being mine . This was because molly was so helpful and got everything sorted as quick as possible .

This is reviews, specifically for Bailey. After my mum and I viewed a house that my mother had fallen in Love. Bailey the viewing agent, was more than helpful and attentive is explaining why the home would suite my mother needs, with no pressure, and absolute sincerity and professionalism. All in all, blundells were incredibly poor throughout. Altering things without our say so. Poor communication throughout sending me to do viewings and telling prospective buyers different days and times to me causing frustration.
I understand the main problem maker has since left and thank goodness. We ended up being persuaded to go down the modern auction route and as a result, received much less that we would have liked.

Daisy in Lettings is an absolute 'Star' we have been letting three of our properties with Blundells for years and in the absence of her line manager and colleague Daisy has impressed us so much. Called Blundells Lettings Chesterfield soon after a rental was listed, i was told that they are waiting for confirmation from vendor for viewing slots and will provide a slot once they get response. Called back after few days and was told all the slots are used. Such a shame!

My experience with Blundells Chesterfield has been very positive. I worked with Laura to secure a rented property and she was very helpful. Any and all questions I asked and information I needed was answered swiftly and politely. After an early hiccup regarding feedback,which was probably 50% my fault,the service throughout has been not only professional ,but very much personal.
I was kept assured that all efforts to sell my property were being made,and repeated and followed up.
Every viewing I was offered an agent to be present if I wished,no pressure either way.
The timescales were worked around my schedule so felt very much part of the process.
Gemma has a great team working for her,and we must never forget these are challenging times for us all,but multiplied significantly in their field.
Finally,the team have a fantastic manager in Gemma.If they use her as a role model maybe the tired old misnomer of estate agents being the bad guys can be dispelled for ever.

Found a property to rent, phoned up, got a viewing on the same day, all good I thought, we were the first to view at teatime with only another viewing directly after us. We met the agent had a good look around, loved the property and straight away said we wanted to rent it, so we were told to ring the office or to drop an email to get the ball rolling, rang straight away only to be told to send an email so they could pick it up first thing in the morning, which we did, had the confirmation email next day and they would keep us updated, spoke on the phone to them and they said they would call me back by the end of the day, I heard nothing. Then browsing properties that same evening we see the property is now let agreed!! So I called first thing the next day to be told it has been let to someone else, absolutely disgusting, only 2 couples viewed and 2 on a virtual viewing so it came down to who the agent deemed worthy.

I was a tenant through Blundells in the same property for 6 years and I caught them lying on 2 occasions.
Firstly, to get commission, the person selling the house to us told us that something was a legal requirement when it wasn't. She refused to let us sign the contract without agreeing to it. The 'insurance' would have cost an additional £13pm if we hadn't cancelled it straight after.
Secondly, they kept telling us the landlord wanted to keep renewing fixed term contracts so we'd have to pay a fee every 6 months. I eventually contacted the landlord directly and they had been saying the same to her about us. They basically were collecting £600 admin fees on top of rent each year until we put a stop to it.
Having said all this, I'll say that Tracy in the repairs department has always been great and she's the only reason Blundells got a second star. She was always efficient and kept us informed on any changes.

Jane Bloomfield was the star of the show when selling our property! All members of staff had fantastic customer etiquette and we're very polite but when I was beginning to feel others had higher priorities whilst I was selling my property, Jane always did exactly what she said she would do and without her I would've lost hope that the sale would go through in the end! She even stayed behind after work one day to call me before leaving because she said she would update me at the end of the day! Jane was also the person who initially negotiated our sale during COVID lockdown and closed the deal the day before getting furloughed! Thank you so much Jane! You deserve a raise! We drove up from Essex to view a house with Blundells and when we went to the appointment after 5 pm they said that they hadn't got a key because the photographer had it. They lied about not having my contact details as I'd given them when I booked the viewing and also left a message, including phone number, before we set off. What a joke of a company but they did say sorry.

They are all First Class in dealing with their Clients. There is also a hidden Angel there called: Liam (Don't tell!). There is this Person called: Andrew, an English Gentleman wearing such a lovely suit he went up walking through a rigid long long lane & didn't care of his shiny beautiful shoes, just so to help us (we passing him in our car) so for us to park infront of the house at our own pleasure. They helped in every way one can imagine & made a contract for the benefit of all (In no time!). Positive Attitude & Respectful.

I was shocked however (after I’d found my tenant) how much the fees are for the tenant!!
Unfortuneately I hadn’t thought to look into the costs for the tenant and I was shocked to find how steep they were.

I have been waiting a chasing a month now, one excuse after another, ooh we need this document, 3 weeks later can you sign this or send this. Absolutely shocking rubbish customer service. Staff members, Lyan and Dane, refused to arrange the viewing of the property, only because they demanding full address of potential tenant and he did not wanted to provide it. We clear understand this is Company policy and guys did not know about EU Personal information Law, in this case we reported to the Property Ombudsman about Direct Discrimination, and left this negative feedback.

It should have been a red flag when we turned up for a viewing and the person in the house had no idea that a viewing was booked. It should have been another when the estate agent was late.
However, we fell in love with the house and immediately put in an offer. It seemed that said offer was not immediately offered to the vendor, and this took some chasing up to get an answer on whether the offer had gone through as there was a lack of communication between the estate agents.
Our offer was accepted, and the estate agent required proof that funds were in place for the house. They rang a few times on multiple days, but did not leave a message. Upon a phone call, they told us that two offers had been accepted, with ours being the lower one and we must urgently send proof of funds. When we sent proof of funds they were quick to tell us that the offer we did not make had been accepted and we couldn't top their offer in the manner that they had topped ours.
While this practice is not illegal in England as 'acceptance' of an offer is not a legally binding statement as it is in Scotland, it is in my opinion that it is very convenient to the estate agent that they saw our level of funds prior to notifying us that they were rejecting our offer. It is also very convenient that the estate agent who had confirmed our offer seemed to know nothing of the assurance that the house was taken off the market.
I'm sure that if you're selling with Blundells it is nothing but convenient to you and they would get you the most for your house through any means but I would not recommend buying through them. As with many estate agents, they seem to have little care for anything but their commission.

Blundells a sham of a company they have just charged me 400 pound for 4 pieces of paper and a reference that costs no more than 30 . Should be a solicitors aswell with them prices lol.Staff are a joke and dont know wether there coming or going and are there just to line their pockets not for the people trying to rent a property they are a scam of a company are ripping off hard working people.

We are brand new to the UK from South Africa, so to successfully navigate our first time home rental endeavour could have proved to be quite a challenge.
Thankfully however, Carly McGrogan and Adam Kimberley from Blundells facilitated the whole process in an extremely professional and friendly manner. They replied patiently and very promptly to each and every email query that we had, and understood the problem we faced of trying to rent a property for the first time in the UK without us having any credit history.
Carly and Adam were able to arrange for us to pay a full 6 months rent up-front, and we were able to secure the property.
The home itself was immaculate when we took it over - it was freshly painted, spotless, and newly carpeted. Credit to both the Blundells and the landlord.
We are extremely happy in Chesterfield and plan to purchase a property here in the not to distant future. Without a shadow of a doubt, we will ask Blundells for assistance us in this regard.
