I can’t recommend Brantons Independent Estate Agents in Totton highly enough. Their local knowledge is exceptional, and what really sets them apart is that everything is handled personally by their team, not an anonymous call centre. Phone calls are answered promptly, questions are dealt with clearly and communication throughout was excellent.

We sold our property through Brantons. From valuation, getting to market and pushing through the sale, the whole team worked together for us. All the staff knew about our sale and were able to support us if we popped in or on the phone. They knew about houses coming to market and suggested properties we might want to view.
When our first sale sadly fell through (just through circumstances) the whole team swung into action and we sold again in less than a week.
Dani, who was our sales progressor, was especially tenacious and patient, and worked really hard connecting everything together and making sure that our sale and purchase went through. It was great to be working with local people who really know and care about the people and market in Totton, and who have good connections with local solicitors and other agents. Their fixed fee pricing structure is very fair and I think other estate agents need to take a leaf out of their book and stop overcharging using a percentage system.

Myself and my partner were put in an awful situation where our old landlord had decided she needed her property back ASAP meaning we had to find somewhere and fast, as you can imagine we were beside ourselves as looking at the current market there was nothing either in own price range or what we was looking for and we didn’t want to move and move time after time.
We contacted Brantons and was immediately delighted with the friendly professional staff.
Adam Folkes was a great help and saved us so much stress , Adam found us a property and send over the details within days and due to our situation said we could be the first to visit, and if it wasn’t the one he would continue to look for us.
Due to our work schedules Adam stayed on late to show us the property, we immediately fell in love then we started the reference process.
Andrew then took us through the very easy and self explanatory referencing and was always on the other end of the phone if we had any questions.
The whole process from us contacting Brantons to us moving in was around 4 weeks if not less.
We still are happy tenants with Brantons and feel very confident in calling them if we have any issues, their maintenance guy is also very lovely and polite.

We came across brantons on a purchase 5 years ago and were so impressed with the level of service that when we came to sell again we didn't even bother to look elsewhere.
They are extremely helpful, listened to what we were looking for and made the whole process so easy and straightforward!
I also have to make a separate comment about Dani, there really are not enough words to describe how brilliant she was, not only doing her bit for us but the chain below us were using purple bricks and call centre solicitors so she went above and beyond chasing the whole chain we honestly can't thank you enough Dani!!

They then sent a member of their team to value our property, this service was highly professional and they instantly made us feel that we could trust them. They’re were fair in the valuation giving us advice and not pushing us to make a decision. I tried to view a property and waited over 4 hours to get a call back to arrange a date to view the call never came so I rang them again apparently I am on the list for a call back as they are terribly busy I was asked when would I want to view and I said. Well I had hoped to view today and I am guessing that won’t happen his reply was phew we are so busy that we are unable to show this property today and we are that busy it won’t be before next week
So all you sellers be warned this is not the first time I have heard bad feedback from this company and now I have experienced it first hand If you want to sell your house cancel this agreement with Brantons and go to Hamwic’s as not once did they refuse a viewing even though it was well out of their way and they sold that property pronto I then asked them to sell another property of mine and they sold that with the first viewer So Brantons have lost a potential cash buyer to purchase a house
