We went to view a property back in June and the estate agent that showed us round was Emma Lewis. We have been looking for houses for months and can genuinely say she’s been the best estate agent that we have met. She knew plenty of information on the house and was able to answer all of the questions that we had. We really liked the house but did not put an offer in but Emma was so helpful and informative. It seems that good estate agents are few and far between but she was great!

I can’t thank the team at Bundy & Bond enough for what they’ve done. We put our house on the market with them, at what I thought was a high price, and within two days it had sold at over the asking price! Any time I had any query, or needed some assistance, the team were always more than happy to help. Everyone at Bundy & Bond has what I call a ‘no nonsense’ approach, meaning they’re easy to deal with without too much sales fluff compared to your typical estate agent, yet they’re all still incredibly professional and masters of their profession. The worst letting agent we have ever dealt with. Incompetent, disrespectful of people’s time and belongings as well as their personal data, which they willingly share with their contractors without prior asking for permission. Great at downplaying all the issues and same goes for their in house complaint process, clearly have a hard time admitting fault. Condescending and patronising whenever issues are brought up and then surprised we stopped bothering reporting anything (those things mentioned were never addressed). Kate at lettings acts like she owns the place, the one time I had to do an inspection with her she would start touching my belongings without asking, I had to physically remove myself from the property for any future inspections to avoid her causing me another anxiety attack. If it wasn’t brought up at the end of our tenancy, where she „apologised”, she wouldn’t have done otherwise as she lacks any self awareness. Mary, who reviewed the complaint did her best to undermine my concerns and the general response was „it wasn’t that bad, you could have moved out earlier”. Appalling attitude. What is mentioned in the review is just a tip of the iceberg, as they will probably try and respond in a selective way :)

A strange way in which the agency works, we viewed a house, we liked it and we were told that we would be chosen by the landlord, without being asked for documents, references, details, absolutely nothing. It seems more that you are chosen by the agent and how much he likes or dislikes you, no connection with the landlord because I don't see what the agent could say about some people without having details. Before the viewing I had to call about 10 times to be able to contact the agent to schedule a viewing, I came 2 hours from London to see the house, willing to pay the rent in advance for at least 3 months, references from the agency with whom we have had the house for 9 years, salaries well above the total required by the agency, triple savings compared to the annual rent to be told that we were refused, based on what criteria? I would not recommend this agency to anyone if this is how they treat customers in general. Special thanks to Kate for the wasted time and lack of explanations.

Looking at these reviews, I cannot fathom why there are no negative ones apart from the fact they get taken down to paint a picture of a company full of saints.
A member of my family I will not name, approached this shambles of a company, and felt like at all times they were being talked down to. They may not make a complaint on here but I will.
How disgraceful that a tinpot estate agents can talk down to perspective buyers, especially when all they're trying to do is get sorted for a smooth move.
If being a homebuyer means you get looked down the nose at, then I don't recommend using a company resembling a bottom feeder of the estate agent world.
Answer to the company response.
Not to worry, I think I've said all I need to in my post. My daughter wants to view a house to which is declined, even though 2 offers were made on their property but had not been accepted at the time. Told basically to go away. Two offers later I will personally make sure she now swerves your company and the abysmal attitude of whoever it was she dealt with there. As for viewing properties, if there happens to be one on sale with your company ( I use that description very lightly) I've advised her to deal direct with the seller, and to explain why she does not approach the agent.
I'm sure there's enough here for you to digest as a Co owner, and in return, teach your staff some customer service discipline.

We've just exchanged on our house today after a stressful 5 month period with plenty of arguments between solicitors, sellers and other estate agents. Having Bundy and Bond as our estate agents was pretty much the only part that was a fantastic experience of moving, which says alot about them and the conveyancing process in the UK!
We spoke to a few estate agents initially and we chose them because they were clearly interested in getting a sale and getting it quickly, not putting it up for an inflated price and setting our expectations above what's possible. They delivered on this, with 3 viewings we had 2 offers so you can't argue with that efficiency!
The only sticking point during the initial process was the quality of the sales brochure for our property. That being said Tina dealt with our concerns quickly and decisively, a new brochure was created and it led to a rapid sale.
From the point of sale we dealt primarily with Geoff, who was tremendous. He answered all my calls promptly, always explained things clearly and even escalated to our solicitors when things weren’t getting done. Even when Geoff wasn’t around everyone else in the team did a great job picking up and helping, which was the exact opposite of my experience working with the estate agent on the other side of the chain.
Overall I’m pleased we went with Bundy and Bond, and I’d recommend them to anyone else looking to sell their house locally!

Michael at Bundy and Bond has been extremely helpful in helping us find our first home. After looking at numerous properties over the last year, we told Michael exactly what we were looking for and he kept that in mind throughout. Any properties that later went onto the market Michael was great at updating us and booking us in for a viewing straight away so we didn’t miss out.
Communication was great throughout!
Michael is patient, friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help. He has a great can do attitude and I would have no problem recommending him in the future.

I have moved house many times over the years and to be brutally honest I have always considered Estate Agents to be a necessary evil! Bundy and Bond were a breath of fresh air. Writing a review for Bundy and Bond is the least we could do for the team. From start to finish they were super responsive and so helpful being the property was our first home. The initial viewing we had with Michael was very professional and by far the best experience we had when viewing houses.
The whole team were really helpful throughout, you could always get through on the phone and if that member of staff didn't have the latest update, they would find out and get straight back.
We had a long chain, and unfortunately my initial sale fell through, but Bundy and Bond were straight onto it and we got a new buyer within a couple of days, meaning we were able to keep the house we were buying.
They also kept chasing and pushing forwards the process to get completion over the line.
They helped make what is a stressful process, a significant amount easier and I really couldn't recommend them more highly. Thank you all!

I must make a special mention to Jane Bowen who deals with the sale progression. Jane was just fantastic. She chased every single day in what was a problematic chain with many queries and hurdles, but nothing was ever too much trouble for her. I’ll actually miss speaking to her, as we spoke every day for around two months! :-)

Me and my partner viewed a property to let today. We were advised to let Kate know our outcome by the end of play today. With all agencies you find they give you this time in order to put offers from yourself and others forward to the landlord and then they choose who they would like to live at the property. After around an hour of the viewing I requested to put an offer in on the property which was also above asking price. I was then advised it was to late as Kate had already accepted an offer from someone else and put that forward to the landlord which had been accepted. I feel at least a courtesy call would have been nice since we had then cancelled further viewings as we wanted to go ahead on this house. As we could see people were waiting to go into the house we felt it would be best being a couple to go home and talk about the property, where you would see your stuff going, what date you could offer to move, and what flexibility you could have on price. Kate suggested this seemed a good idea to as you need to see yourself living somewhere before you decided to go ahead. Clearly this was not the case. Very disappointed to say the least, wouldn’t recommend to anyone as the information was very misleading... would hate to be in a position of buying a property with them is this is the professionalism shown.

From what appeared to be a simple small chain turned into a nightmare and we struggled to obtain reliable updates from our sellers solicitor and estate agents. Outstanding. Highly recommended! You will not receive service like this from any other agent. This was the last move for my wife & I and over the years we have moved multiple times. We were very nervous about selling our house as previous experiences have not always been the best, however we did not need to worry as everything from start to finish with Bundy & Bond was impeccable. They have a fantastic, professional, trustworthy team who on a daily basis demonstrated a willingness to go over and beyond what we had instructed them to do which was to sell our house but their service does not end there; we were not fortunate enough to find a property through Bundy & Bond and the team in absence of assistance from the other agent provided exceptional support and advice with our purchase; no request was too much trouble, chain progression was provided without ever chasing and as a result we have never experienced such a stress free move. If only Bundy & Bond could be made the blueprint for Estate Agents as selling & buying property would then be an entirely different experience for all and not just the minority who are fortunate enough to deal with Bundy & Bond.

We just sold our first ever house through Bundy and Bond and as we’re on the verge of exchange and completion, I felt compelled to write this review.
I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH! Due to recommendation, we had three valuations done. Our mortgage adviser actually recommend them as a local company and I am so pleased she did.
I found Tina to be really lovely when she came to my home, even though my dog bombarded her with kisses and cuddles. She was really informative and put me instantly at ease. Before even meeting the other two companies my mind was made up. They offered a realistic valuation in line with the others and we were happy with the price we put the property on the market for and even happier with the amount Tina managed to negotiate for us.
I can’t stress enough how important trust and contact is with me and I’m surprised at how amazing Bundy and Bond have been with keeping me updated, as usually this is the complete opposite experience you can come to expect from an estate agent. I never felt uncomfortable calling them, if I received an update guaranteed 10 minutes later Tina was texting me to say she was aware of what was happening. They were so on the ball throughout the whole process and I really felt they were all on my side.
I mostly dealt with Tina but I’ve also spoken with Mary, Kevin, Gemma and Jane (I hope I’ve got the names correct). Every person is so polite and friendly. They say they will do something and they do it. They say they will update you and you’ll get an update. It’s so refreshing.
We’ve had trouble with the estate agent of the property we’re purchasing so Tina has been non stop contacting them on my behalf and has even gone into their office a few times. As well as all the calls and emails made and sent by the office to the solicitors. I work full time so this has been a huge help for me and my partner.
I honestly can’t thank Tina, Mary and the gang enough for all their help, support and encouragement throughout this process. I think I would have had breakdown before now.
We’ve recommended them to countless friends and family and once it’s time to move on from our new place, I will have no doubt about using them again.
Tina and Mary are certainly transforming the opinion on estate agents and raising the bar on how an excellent estate agents should be run.

Throughout what was an arduous process as a result of other factors within a protracted chain, Mary and Tina held things together with the utmost professionalism and support to both me as a purchaser as well as their vendor. It was the little touches that made the difference; direct access to the negotiator, even outside of normal office hours, and on the day of completion we were met at the property to be handed keys (which meant no need to worry about delays in collecting keys from an office) and a "new home" card which was a lovely touch.
