Excellent. From the initial meeting with Ian, through to the interactions with the Butchers team, the whole process was very slick. Mel and Holly provided regular updates throughout keeping me informed throughout, and were super responsive to my frequent requests for updates as the sale approached completion. Further, they were more happy to progress with the buyer, some of the small elements surrounding the sale such as furniture sale, outside of contract. A house sale is a challenging process at the best of times, and the Butchers team took a lot of the stress out of it. Highly recommended.

We had decided to sell our house and decided on Butcher Residential at Denby Dale to be our selling agents.
Never have we sold and moved house before, a daunting task to say the least, not a clue what to expect.
From start to finish they were the ‘glue’ that held all the process together. They were our help, progress and information providers, if it wasn’t for Mel we wouldn’t have known what was happening at all, and that was also with our onward move.
We’re very grateful for the work done by Mel, probably going beyond her remit, as at times we felt that the whole process was going to collapse. Thank you Mel for keeping us informed and in the loop, also a shout out for Holly when Mel wasn’t in????

Butcher Residential dealt with my recent house sale for me. From the original valuation, good sound advice on how to market, through to great support and advice through the whole sale process right through to completion, they were amazing. I couldn't fault their customer service and going the extra mile to achieve the best outcome for me.
My sale did come with one or two challenges such as the title deeds not being in my name which needed resolving. It was a stressful time but again the understanding and support to resolve was amazing.

I cannot speak highly enough of Butchers and in particular Mel and Holly. As someone who had their own home up for sale with 2 other estate agents and it took just short of 12 months to sell, purchasing my new property that had Butchers as the sellers estate agents was like a completely different experience altogether.
Mel and Holly kept me up to date constantly and when we ran into a few problems, they were so very lovely, supporting me as well as the sellers. They chased solicitors up, and kept the whole chain going by making sure everyone knew what the other was doing. The sale ended up going through in 6 weeks and I am now in my beautiful new home in time for Christmas.
If I were to sell again, I would not hesitate using Butchers. It was a very personable service and I don’t mind saying, we all shed a few tears when we knew the completion date was going ahead. Mel and Holly, I can’t thank you both enough for the professionalism and kindness you showed.

From what seemed at first to be a straightforward sale, we encountered huge issues with the buyer and his inability to obtain a mortgage. This left us with some difficult issues, ie whether to put the property back on the market, whether the buyer needed to seek specialist mortgage companies or whether to put the house up for sale at auction. The advice from the Agent was always clear and unequivocal at all times despite the endless frustrations. Mel and Holly eventually helped get this conveyance over the line by assisting the buyer, communicating with both solicitors and keeping us as sellers, in the picture. I am usually reluctant to give full marks to the reviewed party but in this case, there is not very much else the Agent could have done better. Top marks!

All estate agents aren't the same-you get what you pay for.
I initially dealt with Ian and when the property was posted, Mel and Holly looked after arranging the viewings and everything before the moving day.
Communication is key and Mel supplied so much information about where we were with the rest of the "chain".
I have had experience of quite a few estate agents and I would say that they are the best I have used and would strongly recommend Butchers who make a stressful situation a little easier with help and advice coming from a lot of experience in the job.

A great experience selling my property with Butcher Residential - highly recommended.
Ian provided a valuation which proved realistic and accurate - unlike other agents who valued the property, he didn't inflate the valuation just to try and secure my business, and was open and honest about the price he thought the property would achieve in the current market.
Marketing and negotiations were then handled by Mel and Holly in the local office, who were very organised, professional, and easy to communicate with. Above all, I felt that they had my best interests at heart as their customer, and I never felt pressured to accept their suggestions about how to market the property.
Overall, an excellent experience and I will definitely use Butcher Residential if selling a property in the area in future.
