Firstly, Whycherley sold mum's house!
Another agent didn't (even though my dealings with them were good).
Charles was eager to sell it as he had sold it to my mum 30+ years ago. Charles guided me through the process when I wanted to put it to auction. That was the right decision as it meant I didn't narrow my options. The market was changing when i put the house on the market so I think Charles' experience came in to play at a time when predictions were difficult. I did reduce but I believe I had to in order to meet market dynamics. I believe Charles' reputation and networks and those of his family of agents set him a part in a particular way. I also think he has a determination that played in mum's favour. I was happy his team were made up of women in a world where that is not always the case although maybe in estate agents moreso and they were on the ball. I was not in the country for most of the time Charles was working on selling the house and he made it painless. He saw it through to the end. And I'm happy with the end. Thank you Charles and your team. I would DEFINITELY recommend Charles Wycherley!

Very poor service from Charles and his team. As a vendor, they do not keep you posted with the sale of the property and do nothing to push the sale through faster. Impossible to get updates from. Charles thinks he is better than everyone else and clearly looks down on people. I'd avoid this company if you actually want your sale to go through!!!

Charles is easily the worst Estate Agent I have had the misfortune to encounter. Never have I met such a smug, self serving, patronising and wholly unpleasant character. He somehow manages to both epitomise everything wrong with the industry whilst simultaneously viewing himself as god's gift to dual aspect water closets. This chauvinist reminds me of a badly designed bidet. How glad I am that he is completely disinterested in actually selling any of the vastly overpriced properties on his book. What a dinosaur.
