There were times when we felt sorry for MansellMctaggart. We went to them after a few fruitless months with another agency who seemed to run out of steam. What impressed us most about MansellMctaggart was their enthusiasm. In spite of the clock seeming to run out we kept getting viewings and they reassured us it will happen. And it did. I would definitely recommend them because they never gave up, and they certainly produced the viewings. We had been on the market over one year and they pulled the rabbit out of the hat against all odds. I would highly recommend them, highly efficient and full of enthusiasm. This is the agency to go for if you want results.

My dealings with the Mansell McTaggart team based Ringmer has been very enjoyable. My main dealing has been with Scott and Michelle(s). Although having delays both from my divorce settlement and sellers decisions Scott and Michelle have been calm and professional. When I have needed assistance in sorting out some of the 'purchasing procedures' they have explained with clarity, good humour and honesty.

I have known Will Read for several months now, and employed him as an estate agent at Mansell McTaggart to sell my property. He has proved to be very personable with exacting standards, well presented with a very high work ethic, having a rarely seen ability to follow a job through to its final conclusion. His dogged and tenacious determination to turn a slender lead into a successful result is a work of art and he will follow it and tie up all loose ends until everyone involved is satisfied. There is no doubt at all in my mind that whatever he turns his hands to will be a first class success.
What is amazing is that he does all this and yet does not come across as an aggressive or pushy character. Far from it, you end up as a friend. His honesty and integrity is such that one can safely leave him with the keys to your premises knowing that you will find your premises exactly as you left them!

I recently sold a property through Mansell McTaggart. I switched to them because I found the original agent, who marketed the property for ten months, to be unsatisfactory. In contrast, everyone I contacted at Mansell McTaggart were great: friendly and helpful, always replying to emails and returning my calls. Many thanks to Will, whose dedication was crucial to getting to completion.
There are other estate agents in Lewes, but Mansell McTaggart is the one you should use.

If I could leave 0/5 I would. They take on way too many properties and can't possibly manage them all. Awful customer service, you will never hear from them and when you ring you feel fobbed off and told you will get a call back which never happens. Use at your peril!!

Market price dropped after the valuation, but if the sale goes ahead, it will have sold in 3 months.

We just sold a property which for various reasons had been very difficult to shift. Mansell McTaggart were the third agents we'd tried. I had reduced the asking price to little more than scrap value so this was only going to earn them a paltry minimum commission. Despite this they got to work and found us a serious proceedable buyer within about six weeks. A professional, courteous and friendly service throughout with excellent communication by phone and e mail. If I have one criticism it is that we never did get the passwords and so on to work on the app which they use to keep track of viewings and post feedback...however I was always able to speak with Will on the team who never failed to return my phone calls.
Proactive and efficient I wouldn't hesitate to use this firm again.

Nice guys and polite efficient staff, but it appeared that they sometimes did what they liked for a sale to go through or to get an instruction, perhaps at the cost of integrity and disclosure.
Issues too over confidentiality breaches, that were never dealt with.
