Great experience selling through Connells Southam. The team were super approachable and not too pushy. They were open and realistic about the whole process too. Ryan was always happy to answer any questions or give reassurance when other estate agents in the chain weren't so forthcoming. I'm hoping not to move again for a good while but I would definitely recommend and I would use them again!

Sincere thank you to Prestan Riley-Constable for his diligence and determination in helping me see through to the eventual sale of my property. My Solicitor had everything ready to go in May however, the other two sets of Solicitors in the chain have been woefully inept, Prestan always tried to find out what was (or was not) happening, shared the information appropriately, and endeavoured to keep things moving. His calm and patience with me, when I was tearing my hair out at the unnecessary delays, deserves a medal. Estate Agency is not just about marketing a property and getting interest and viewings, but following through the eventual sale process. Prestan has achieved this well and I am very grateful to him.

Couldn’t recommend Sam highly enough, especially as first time buyers we needed some extra guidance throughout the process and she was always more than happy to explain things to us and help in any way she could to keep the process moving forward. She not only kept us up to date on mortgage deals available for us throughout, but kept things moving with our purchase as well and helped us to assess where we were at when we got our survey back and needed to renegotiate. We also had a very bad experience with the first property we offered on (selling agents fault), which Sam went over and above to try and rectify for us!

Nothing but glorified school kids,total lies,and very corrupt. lewis told me all searches had been done,and the sale would be completed by the end of october.but never sent sale to solicitor and searches were not even started. Still not completed at end of November. Lewis is as much use as a chocolote tea pot. And the rest of the staff are not any better. I certainly would never recommend connells to anyone.update still not sold after 16 months gave up with connells and went to hawksford there was a buyer straight away and the house was sold, start to finish in 5 weeks. Says it all.

Too much of the commercial chat from the Branch Manager prior to putting on the market. Very poor photos. I had to rewrite their appraisal with the selling points of the property. Slow checking documents. Plenty of viewings but, no feedback unless requested and offers not given in writing (as is law) until pushed and law pointed out. Some members of staff helpful. Just wanted to make a shout out to Lewis here. In the end we went with a different estate agent back in October 2020. That was purely because of property available - if we bought a property based purely on the efficiency and helpfulness of the agent then we would have gone with these guys. The only thing they lost out on was our spec of house but I'd recommend them to anyone. Ask for Lewis, he was on the ball.

Me and my fiancé (Curtis) have purchased a number of houses and have great experience dealing with estate agents. We can confidently say that Connells Southam have been utterly terrible and corrupt upon a recent interaction that we have had.
We submitted a number of offers, each taking weeks to be declined, this wasn’t all failure on behalf of Connells, it was also the company selling the property too. However after submitting an offer, we were informed that we would receive an answer ‘probably tomorrow’, yet we would never receive any updates. We made well over 20 calls and emails chasing our offers, yet Connells responded to hardly any.
My fiancé was dealing with Lewis, who is the branch manager. Lewis would always advise my fiancé ‘I shouldn’t tell you this but you’re still the highest offer, ‘I shouldn’t tell you this, we had an offer of around X amount’. He was encouraging us to increase our offer as if it was an auction.
It didn’t stop there, the following confirmed just how corrupt this companies actions are...
After being advised the seller/company wanted us to increase our offer by £500, we did this, increasing the offer to £218,500. After not hearing anything for over 4 days, not even an email keeping us up to date, I was so fed up, I asked my friend to call Connells Southam and enquire about the propert in question as I wanted to discover what information they would provide. To my utter shock and disgust, a member of Connells advised my friend what our current offer was, again, in his words ‘I shouldn’t tell you this’, advising that he would have to offer more. UTTERLY DISGUSTING AND CORRUPT!! If you are looking to buy a property, don’t buy through this estate agents, go elsewhere. Simply unprofessional.

I found Connells Estate Agent in Southam to be the best estate agent I have ever sold a house with, and I have sold many properties. The hardest part is the emotional side once sold, with communication with solicitors etc..... However Lewis and the amazing team were always helpful, professional and up to date with everything. I sold quickly and the chain went through within eight weeks. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I cannot thank Connells enough, the best Estate agents in Southam, Warwickshire. Once again, absolutely brilliant.

Understand they were busy at the time, but the service we got was pretty appalling
Didn't call back when they promised they would.
Had to call the Leamington office on more than one occasion when viewings had been booked but not confirmed, and not communicated to the vendor.
Ended up communicating with the vendor ourselves and not going through Connell's at all.

Having recently sold a property through Connells in Southam, I feel it would be remiss of me not to write a review. After purchasing the house some 8 years previous, my experience with the company had not been great, so when I came to sell, I went elsewhere. However, with little joy after about 5 months, I rang the Wellesbourne branch of Connells from where I purchased the house. The agent, Jade, on the end of the line was full of vibrant enthusiasm and although Wellesbourne no longer covered the area my property was in, she said she’d get Southam office to call me which they promptly did. I received a call from Lewis, who with his right-hand man Ashley, could not have been more helpful and supportive in the sale of the property. Lewis even came by on the day we moved out, which proved to be a godsend. Their in-house mortgage consultant, Mike Ashton, came up trumps with a good mortgage deal, a real challenging due to us being 60+ years. Also, we now have free, lifelong mortgage support from Connells mortgage brokers and will receive a call 6 months before our current tracker finishes, to sort another. Don’t hesitate to give Connells a call if you’re looking to buy or sell, I believe you will get all the help and support you’d expect. Thank you to you all.

Highly recommend Connells Southam, Selling our home wasnt easy - we had a global pandemic to thank for that. Luckily we sold the day the market opened back up.
After the sale we had niggles and issues with solicitors, loosing a house we had offered on, sorting out a new mortgage etc but Lewis (branch manager) and Raj (mortgage adviser) were always just a phone call away. The lads at the southam branch are so helpful and lovely people! The amount of support and reassurance i received from the lads was outstanding! any issue, any time of day, they were there... Thank you guys!!

Very disappointed, placed property on the Market below Market value. After 6 months only 2 viewings. when I said I was moving to another agent was advised I had to give 4 weeks notice! 1 more viewing in that time. had to go to their office to get any feed back? Dropped the value a further £10000, and was advised this would increase the interest - 1 viewing!!!!

We arrived at Connells Southam feeling somewhat down-trodden and disheartened having been through 2 chain collapses through a different agent. I initially met Jo who valued our home, and soon after met Emily who had viewings lined up our property within 24hrs and had secured an offer on it within days which meant we were able to still secure our onward purchase. We had a tight timescale to exchange within 6 weeks and Emily, Pat and the rest of team did all they could do help us achieve it. We moved in to our new home on Friday and cannot recommend the team at Connells enough!!
