I am happy to share my recent experiences purchasing a property in Street through Cooper and Tanner. The staff in the Street Office, were knowledgeable, helpful and provided an excellent service - not only by recommending an independent building surveyor - but also by making the necessary arrangements for viewings, providing good quality written material and information and answering any follow-up questions about the property, in a professional, efficient and timely manner. As as result, the milestones and stages of the purchase from offer to final completion were achieved without any major difficulties or delays. Cooper and Tanner also acted professionally helping both the vendors and me, as the purchaser, to progress the sale and bring it to a successful conclusion. My sincere thanks to the Street Office team - David, Senior Negotiator; Iain, the Branch Manager; and Thea who showed me around the property and answered my questions. Dannii, the Office Coordinator, who was excellent in resolving any problems, acting as a conduit, making sure that everything continued to move forward smoothly during all the 'forwards and backwards' of the sale. As a first time buyer, late in life, this was all a very new experience to me, but Cooper and Tanner helped me find the right property in the right location for me. My thanks again!

Beware of the Letting Departments @ Cooper & Tanner.
Jean Moakes and Lauren Patterson lied about the proposed Tenant's circumstances, in order to get the tenancy agreement signed prematurely.
Thereafter I discovered I had to pay their Electrician more than £8,000 to update the electricals, in order to make the house suitable for letting.
When I discovered the lies I confronted them - they could not even get themselves to apologise. Let alone doing anything to restore my trust.
Throughout the 2 years tenancy they carried on with their condescending attitude disregarding the contractual agreement and undertaking initiatives without my prior consent, including their on-going knowledge that the Tenants did sub-let the house without seeking my consent.
Natasha Mears saved the situation by taking charge of the day to day running of the tenancy.....however the whole experience left a deep scar in my perception of this Estate Agent.

We marketed our house at the beginning of January and sold to the second viewers. Danni was brilliant at keeping us updated and all staff were happy to answer any queries or chase any information that was needed.
We completed in May and can honestly say that the experience was practically stress free.
All our family and friends commented on how great the photos were, excellent photographer.
We lived nearer the Langport area but have absolutely no regrets about using Cooper and Tanner in Street - it was meant to be.

Cooper & Tanner Street sold my house back at the tail end of 2023. It was a bit of an anomaly but Ian priced it accurately and a buyer was found very quickly. The selling process was managed well. If you want an Estate agent who will truly act on the best of your interest, Cooper and Tanner is the one. You might find them a bit more pricy than other agents, but my personal experience has proved that money was well spent. They are incredibly professional, hyper efficient, most importantly, they really work for your best interest. Highly recommended!!

The team were helpful and professional to a fault, guiding us through every step of the process and ensuring we were kept updated. As and when we decide to sell and move on we will be returning to Cooper and Tanner without hesitation!! 10/10

If I could give '0' stars I would! Having bought a property through this estate agent, I cannot recommend enough that they are avoided! They were caught lying on several occasions, didn't pass on critical information about the property that they were aware of, and were reluctant to help iron about issues during the legal process. They made the whole experience an absolute nightmare, and it could have easily been avoided. If you want to buy or sell a property smoothly and need to get a response from your agent, don't use this company!
In reply to your response... I can assure you that this is a genuine review and I bought through Cooper & Tanner, Street Branch. I do not however feel comfortable leaving my full name on a public platform when my trust with you has been completely eroded, nor do I intend to contact you directly! If you had sent me a link to your feedback system for your website (feefo I believe) as you would have if you knew you had provided me with good service, my feedback would have been given on there instead. It appears however that you are selective in who you request feedback from so that it is in your favour! I sincerely hope that this review makes you think twice about how you treat people.
