I recently used Crofts to sell my house as well as purchase a new house through them. My entire house selling and buying journey was a much more pleasant process than I could have asked for. From start to finish, I felt very looked after by the team at Crofts and they were all so friendly, professional and helpful. From Matt coming round to take photos and organise my house sale, to Sue attending the viewings, and to Emma being at the end of the phone whenever I had any queries or needed help with anything. I’ve dealt with Crofts in Immingham previously and again more recently. My first contact was with Matt, he was super helpful, extremely polite & made me feel very welcome.
I don’t know where to start with this next one…I was so impressed with Donna who had dealt with my purchase and oh my…I hadn’t realised that businesses these days could still offer this high level of service.
Honestly, Donna updated me every single step of the way and was always one step ahead.
Not forgetting Michelle either, she was there for some great advice regarding my mortgage and nothing was too much trouble!
There isn’t anything I would suggest these guys do differently, if you want an extremely high level of service then I highly recommend you use Crofts in Immingham.
I’ve tried to purchase properties from other estate agents and most have failed to even contact me.
Definitely my number one priority regarding property sales, purchases & lettings!!

Donna called regularly, and made sure we were happy with the process.

Croft's are a typical dodgy estate agent, only bothered about selling you a house as maximum profit, don't care for people who want to rent.
Especially those on benefits or with pet's
Cant constantly blame it on landlords decisions either which is absolutely absurd.
Gary is rude he's always thought he was something special when he was younger being someone really important or so he thinks.
Arrogant staff and arrogant company avoid and look to rent elsewhere.

Firstly, I want to just say I have updated my review and I will explain in detail why I have given my two-star rating for crofts estate agents, this review reflex the company as a whole and not just the individual premises.
I've had numerous issues with Croft's estates for the past few months.
Firstly the Cleethorpes branch doesn't seem interested in renting properties out to people who are on benefits or who have pets, they seem to use the landlord as an excuse everytime and say it's their fault.
Anyway, we arranged a viewing with this branch on a property and never heard a single thing back despite us filling in an application form. We had to call them up to 2 weeks later just to find out that it was taken off the market due to so many applications despite the fact their website said it was under offer which in the industry means it's under offer...
We then applied for a second property with them to get an email back asking if we was able to pay £5100 up front for the rental on this property as the landlord wanted 6 months rent. This was not stated in the listing agreements either.
After this failed attempt we went to the immingham branch and the two ladies in there seemed a lot nicer and couldn't do enough to help.
We booked a viewing for two properties and we informed them at every step of the way. We are on disability benefits but also work and earn more than the minimum required for a property.
The lady who showed us around the first property seemed very eager in us putting in an application form to which we did and yet again we was told. Sorry the landlord has chosen another applicant in this instance, I asked why and they didn't give me an answer. Just the landlord makes the decision.
We then again looked another property which we fell in love with and would be perfect for our needs. However, the lady showing us around in this instance which was the same lady from before seemed to be incredibly rude and didn't want us to be there when she realised it was us.
Furthermore, she went on to tell me that this property being a new build probably isn't very good because she doesn't like new builds due to her personal experience.
Highly unprofessional if you ask me.
We raised our concerns about this lady to the branch in Immingham to be told this lady was never like this and they don't believe that's how she acted.
We seemed to be the liars basically in their eyes and this lady could do no wrong.
I then said to them I feel like we are being punished because we are on benefits and have dogs despite the fact that we have enough money and we even offered 2 months rent plus the deposit on the property in question in immingham.
The lady said that a lot of landlords feel those on benefits stay at home more so therefore put more wear and tear on properties so because of this they are put off.
Not only is this discrimination but offensive to people who work from home, there's no difference between someone on benefits or someone who works from home.
A week went by. We heard nothing. We contacted them directly and about 4 hours later we had a phone call yet again stating the landlord had decided to go with someone else, at this point I had given up all hope and I genuinely felt like I was being discriminated against because of our situation.
I emailed the owner of crofts Gary and explained the situation in detail.
Unfortunately, the response I got back again seemed to be that of a common theme with crofts, which was just a bit direct and rude.
Stating that they are never discriminating against anyone when I know for a fact that I'm not the first person this has happened to..
I have a friend who works in the industry and has told me countless horror stories about crofts.
I'll never use crofts again and nor will I reccomend them to anyone who wants to rent.
Landlords if you use crofts please consider those on benefits and don't discriminate against pets all the time.

After trying to sell our house in 2023 and having 2 potential offers fall through we decided to take it off the market and re-try this year. Fortunately this time it did sell although there where times when I thought something would go wrong. My contact at Crofts was Donna, I have to say she was brilliant. From the point when I accepted the offer she was in contact every week to keep me advised on issues or problems. There where a few but all ironed out in the end. Selling and buying is a stressful time and I did think on occasions when my phone rang, oh hope this isn't bad news. For estate agents, they have seen it all before, it had been 29 years since I had sold and bought property.
In summing up, I would definately use Crofts again if I where to consider moving. Special thanks to Donna for all her hard work and putting up with me when I sounded stressed on the phone.

There's a reason why Crofts have a lot of for sale and Sold boards in immingham, and that's because of their professionalism and knowledge. I am looking to move to the area, so went to see a house we love. Sue the lady from Crofts gave my family and I really valuable information not just about the house but about the area too, and it's all the things that as a potential buyer with a family I'd need to know, schools, amenities, what the area is like in general. Contacted the agency to view a.couple of.properties to let was brilliantly dealt with as I live quite a way out from.the area and the new covid safety guidlines means public transport is not running as often in my town so set up 2 virtual viewings for these properties , very consistent when making enquirys with them and dearly with quickly

Cannot rate the Cleethorpes branch of Crofts highly enough. From the initial valuation appointment until the final day of our sale the sales team excelled. We had a prolonged and at times difficult sale, but the staff remained positive, professional and positive throughout. Special mention to Vicky who we felt went over and beyond what we expected.
