A wonderful experience with David and Ali.<br><br>I met David on Friday 30th January to discuss the letting, and at the time I thought he was being optimistic when he said, “We would hope to find you suitable tenants within two weeks.”<br><br>I wasn’t sure, but David was confident — and he delivered. I just have to give a massive shoutout to Ali at David Harris Agency in Finchley! After being let down by countless estate agencies without any solid reasons, we were feeling pretty disheartened. Then, a friend recommended Ali, who had previously helped them find their dream rental through David Harris, and they couldn't stop raving about Ali's professionalism and demeanor.
Initially, we had put an offer on a property in pretty rough shape, feeling like we had no other options in our desperate quest to escape our current neighborhood, which wasn't ideal for my daughters. Unfortunately, the landlord turned down our offer. But Ali didn't give up on us! Despite our tight budget and specific requirements for North Finchley, Ali persisted. And guess what? He found us an absolute gem—a brand new, beautifully refurbished flat. As I'm sitting here writing this review, I'm gazing out at a stunning park view from my living room, and I can't help but feel immense gratitude for what Ali and the team at David Harris have done for my family.

We had a super smooth tenancy thanks to Robert Mecaj at David Harris & Co - just fantastic since day one. On our initial meeting Robert was kind enough to take us around the local area, even drove us in his personal car from one viewing to another, was able to show us a beautiful newly renovated property that hadn't even been listed yet, and was fanatic and efficient with getting the paperwork sorted and allowing us to get moved in very quickly. We stayed at the property for just over 1.5 years (after which we moved out of the area) and we had almost 0 problems with the property or the tenancy. Any small problems that we did encounter were dealt with quickly and efficiently, and all in all we just had a very positive experience. On vacating the property Robert was incredibly helpful in not only dealing with our deposit return, but also with dealing with Barnet Council in terms of terminating our council tax. Really appreciate all of the great work from Robert and would definitely recommend!

There are plenty of estate agents in Finchley, and I would strongly advise to look elsewhere to business with more integrity and honestly.
We used David Harris estate agents to try to buy our new home, however our experience was far from acceptable and the estate agents’ actions were a disgrace.
We submitted an offer for a property, was accepted by the vendor. 3 months into the process (having conducted surveys/instructed solicitors and agreed our mortgage), we were told the cash buyer had entered negotiations with the vendor and our offer was rescinded. David Harris estate agents had clearly been marketing the property underhand despite it being under offer with us. This cost us months of our time and energy, and thousands of pounds in professional fees. David Harris assured us they were a very honourable business but I can assure you that this is not the case, and the worst I have experienced to date.
In addition, they misled us with farcical stories about why previous buyers had pulled out, with two agents telling us different stories. It was a ridiculous situation and we should have seen the warning signs.

David Harris estate agents had clearly been marketing the property underhand despite it being under offer with us. This cost us months of our time and energy, and thousands of pounds in professional fees. David Harris assured us they were a very honourable business but I can assure you that this is not the case, and the worst I have experienced to date.
In addition, they misled us with farcical stories about why previous buyers had pulled out, with two agents telling us different stories. It was a ridiculous situation and we should have seen the warning signs.

I’ve been a tenant with David for 6 years now and have always been very happy with the services provided. This year however the agency really surprised me in a very positive sense. When the next door flat became available they helped me make the move from one to the other so easily. It was quite challenging as I had just renewed the contract with the landlord for the old flat but David and his team made it possible at very little extra cost and under quite tight time constraints.Also they negotiated a very good deal for my rent in the bigger flat. I feel safe and respected as a tenant which isn’t something that comes easily these days!

I've been with David Harris & Co coming up to 4 years now. As a tenant I've found David and his team easy to deal with and they've always been open, honest and professional with us. There have been a few contract renewals and changes in tenants in the flat I've lived in and these have all gone smoothly. David takes his time to explain the ins and outs of the paperwork and has notified us of any changes in laws and regulations etc that have come in, you can tell he has alot of knowledge in his field. We have used David Harris since 1994 . He has managed and let five properties. I have found them to be ultra efficient and have always been available to tackle any problem however small. Our tenants have also often commented how reassuring it was to have such professional managing agents . They have recently sold two of the properties for us and within a few days of instruction found two buyers near the asking price. They were able to act as go betweens between us, the buyers and the two groups of solicitors. I can only but recommend them for both letting and sales of any property .

Poor service. Looking to view four flats, I emailed multiple times and called multiple times over days to get the viewings arranged. On the day of the first viewing, I travelled across town (time, £) and when I was 15 mins from the location, they called to say it had been taken off the market. This was not very professional and they definitely could have advised me that it was possibly going to be taken off the market so I wouldn't waste time and money. 2 weeks ago, my husband and I were looking for the perfect, warm house, where to find your peace. I was pressed for time, I needed a house urgency. I called many agencies but I had no hope. .The time press us and we had no hope. We called the last phone number where a warm voice answered. ?????????Robert Mecaj, of David Harris & co. I said what we were looking for, I made an appointment. Robert guessed what I wanted. we fell in love with the house, and within 4 days when I celebrated 1 month of marriage with my husband we were already in the house making plans for decoration.Robert fulfilled our dream. We are new to the area and we dealt with a quite a few other agents in the area but we found David Harris & Co to be the most approachable.
We dealt with Robert and we found him to be very friendly professional. He held our hand through the process keeping us updated throughout the process. He also made the impossible possible by moving us into a property within 4 days.
If you are looking for an honest and reliable agent they're the ones to go to.

Far beyond finding a place and showing it to us, as this was our 1st time renting a property in the UK, they suppprted us every step of the way, making it all really clear, simple and stress free.
