The initial appraisal of our North Somerset village property felt very realistic, and Neil was clearly very knowledgable about the various issues that come from selling an old property. Following our first viewing with Jo, we fell in love with the property and proceeded to put an offer forward which, we were very excited to say was accepted. Our second viewing didn't disappoint. Jo was as warm and welcoming as when we met on our first viewing. We brought our Daughter and two small grandchildren to see the property as they already live in Cheddar. Jo was more than accommodating and invited us to have a further look around. We spent a while in the property as we needed to confirm some necessary measurements. We never felt rushed and indeed Jo made some helpful suggestions for our future plans !
The process of the sale on our property has been quite stressful, and Jo has been very supportive throughout putting a lot of effort into bringing our purchase to a successful conclusion ! What a star ????!
We are very excited to be moving into our new home soon !

Our experience is from the Rental Agency part of this business. From our perspective I really hope they train their staff better.
Our experience was not good.
Most/all of the problems were avoidable and reflected either a lack for training or a careless approach to the legitimate needs of their tenant.
At this time the Landlord, no matter how bad they behave, is king.
We won't be coming back as a customer (either in a rental or purchasing form).
It would be nice if they would learn from this experience. We did!!!!
In our case the training cost us hard cash!!!

Initial contact with Debbie Fortune was with Neil who gave me the confidence that he represented a professional company with good plans. I was very happy with the property valuation, photographs and sales brochure produced and managed by Neil which gave the property excellent marketing material.
Viewing was generally grouped together and completed by Debbie Fortune staff which reduced the impact on ourselves. Most viewings were conducted by Wendy who again presented the property in the manner I expected.
Although we had a number of let-downs mostly due to issues lower down the chain, the team where proactive in the remarketing and new perspective buyers were found extremely quickly. Most bookings/administrative work was carried out in a professional manner by Maureen, Maisey and Keira.
Special mention must be made for our assigned move manager Joanna Pallet who kept us informed on a regular basis, this helped reduce the stress levels of selling the property. Joanna kept a handle on the whole chain.
I would definitely recommend Debbie Fortune Estate Agent if you want a competitive and professional property sale.
