We viewed a property in Langford which needed total refurbishment.We were lucky in that Tom MEAKIN was assigned to our two viewings. Whilst he understandably had the interests of his clients best placed he was extremely helpful and accommodating with our questions and requests. In the end we regrettably had to concede that the work necessary was going to be too involved and costly. I felt bad making the ‘bailing out’ phone call but Tom took it in his stride and did his best to ensure that I didn’t feel awkward. An absolute credit to his company. Thanks again for all your patience and effort Tom!

Robin King were fantastic from start to finish. We sold our house through them and they were extremely knowledgeable about the local market and recommended a realistic price. They use a professional photographer for the brochure and the pictures were top quality. As a result, we sold to the first people to view. They kept up the service all the way through to exchange and assisted when the chain collapsed, keeping us positive when things were not going to plan. Their staff are incredibly hard working and responsive and are a pleasure to deal with. I can’t recommend this firm highly enough - we have moved a lot, and Robin King are hands down the best agents we have dealt with.

I can’t recommend Robin King Estate Agents enough regarding my rental property.
Vicky has gone above and beyond to make this experience as smooth and organised as it could be. Even when there were any hurdles to overcome, it’s been dealt with promptly and with great knowledge and expertise.
Kay has also been amazing in communicating with me and helping to get any questions answered and promptly dealt with. She was also great at supporting me with the rental process during set up and since I’ve moved out.
Renting my property for the first time came with a lot of emotions and the unknown but my mind has been put at ease knowing that the team have worked hard to find great tenants and will support me in whatever is needed throughout the process.
I would highly recommend this service to anyone who is considering using Vicky and the team at Robin King.

DO NOT RENT WITH ROBIN KING IF YOU ARE A STUDENT.
Our experience with this agency has been shocking. The student property we rented, owned by either the company or Robin King himself, was handled extremely poorly from start to finish. Essential repairs that were promised before our tenancy began remained incomplete for months, leaving parts of the house uninhabitable. I was personally denied access after giving 7 days’ notice that i will be in the property.
At one point, a broken shower went unfixed for nearly two months, forcing five tenants to share one shower, despite the higher rent we paid for a two-shower property which they were aware of. The contractors used by the agency were also unprofessional, for eg, one tore down our bathroom ceiling when the actual issue was with the shower tray, creating a serious safety hazard.
No compensation was offered for these clear breaches of our tenancy agreement, much of which raised health and safety concerns, so we will pursue this matter further.
Communication throughout was inconsistent, delays were constant, and we had to chase every update. Moreover, the agency somehow had the audacity to take a substantial portion of our deposit, which we mostly won back through TDS adjudication.
If you rent through them, keep everything in writing, as they may attempt to misrepresent what was said. It’s clear that student tenants are treated with far less care and professionalism than their other clients.
Do not be misled by excuses that the agency bears no responsibility with our experience - decision-making is ultimately delegated to the agency or from the owner of the agency for their student properties.
AVOID this agency. Students deserve far better treatment and accountability.

We purchased a property through Robin King and they were amazing..... here's why.
Every time we had cause to call them, whoever answered the phone, was polite, helpful and well informed.
There were a number of difficulties with the sale due to the size of the chain (absolutely nothing to do with Robin King) and throughout they remained helpful and committed to a timely completion.
Special mention goes to Tom Meakin who did an fantastic job of negotiating a fair deal, with consideration to all parties and keeping us informed, throughout a long drawn out, and at times miserable experience caused by inefficient / lazy / incompetent solicitors!
I can not recommend Robin King highly enough, the epitome a of professional estate agent - Thank you (and you in particular Tom!)

Insisting on giving them a family members postcode before speaking to me. How bizarre. We recently put our property on the market with Robin King after research into local estate agents and several valuations. We have had experience of Robin King before when we relocated from London we purchased from our buyers of whom were using Robin King and it was a positive experience.
We met with James last week and as soon as we gave the go ahead Chloe wrote and produced the brochure within a very short period of time. The photographer came on a Sunday as we work from home during the week and did an excellent job of the photography. I am a coach and trainer and write my own blogs and workshops and my husband has a photography and film degree. So we worked with Chloe on the editing of her most excellent script and with Sean on his fabulous shots. They even incorporated my partner’s photo of the patio which was appreciated.
Since then we have had viewings booked. These have enabled me to continue my coaching and NHS dr training online. They have also been understanding of the needs of our cats!
I particularly like the app that they use and the ease of communication to smooth the whole process of viewing and the marketing has been superb. Thank you!????

Our relationship with Robin king nearly spanned a year. Firstly it started as we were buying from them, for which the customer service was excellent. Then due to our buyer pulling out we switched over to RK and they continued to provide great service from both sides. Unfortunately the economy was against us. Roll onto next spring and the house was sold in 6 days. They were there if there was a problem but also let us get on with it when we needed to as well. The most fantastic agents. We have recently bought a house sold by Robin King and they were exceptional. They were communicative, understanding and completely transparent throughout the negotiation process and helped their client, the seller, and us secure the sale/purchase. They went above and beyond during the sale process and took responsibility of coordinating the rest of the chain to make sure everyone was on the same page. They kept in regular contact and provided updates without us asking. They always responded extremely quickly to any emails or voicemails. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would use to market my own house in the future. Having bought and sold a number of houses, this is the only example I have of an estate agent adding value to the transaction and making it much less stressful.

Thoroughly recommend Robin King Estate Agents. Selling the house was a difficult task, in many ways. They were so kind and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Can only really endorse many of the previously posted positive comments. We changed from another Agent to Robin Kings, so glad we did, my only regret being, should have done so much sooner, completely different experience, from our previous agent. Although our new agreement took probably longer to conclude than I would have liked it was certainly NOT down to any lack of trying on Vicky's part. Moreover its about ALL parties being satisfied with the outcome. Without wishing to speak for others, but I'm going to, I believe we were all more than satisfied with how business was both conducted and how it concluded. Do not use RK for renting- They will attempt to take as much of your deposit as possible.
They tried to use OLD photos from before we moved out/finished cleaning before we showed our own proof photos.
They also don't really care about inconviencing you. There was scaffolding blocking our only exit/entrance and had no intentions of moving it until i had to talk with safety and legal.
If you're renting with them make sure you have photos of e v e r y t h i n g not just the whole rooms either get close ups. & Get everything in written proof and screenshots.
I have never had any issues with any other landlord/agency whilst renting in the past. RK are by far the worst.
Update: They'll also begin to harass you via email for your review!

Vicky and the lettings team at Robin King are unfailingly friendly and helpful; their customer service is exemplary. Vicky came to see us on her day off as she knew the time-pressure we were under. She has helped us find local tradespeople, answered our insurance queries, and advised on so many other issues. The house was quickly let to lovely tenants. We are kept regularly informed and updated. Faultless service.

I've had a great experience with Robin King Lettings team. I've been a tenant of accommodation that they managed. The initial viewing and then subsequent take over meeting were very pandemic mindful. Every question I had, was answered in timely manner. There have been 2 issues with white goods, not related, that were handled promptly with regular updates and now that sadly, it's time to leave, I've had great communication from the Lettings Manager about the options open to me. Thanks.

If you live in the local area and have the opportunity to put your house on the market dont look anywhere else, robin king estate agents are amazing. Why?
I have NEVER in the years of being in a customer service role EVER had service like it. We bought a house in Churchill recently and we were dealt with from start to finish in the most amazing way. Seamless is an understatement. Ruth at the agency was the lady that showed us round the property and her ability to sell a house and her level of care during the negotiations and after exchange have been impeccable.
I have sent her a work related email at weekends and late at night (not that I was expecting a reply back that day) she responds almost immediately.
She dealt with everything so swiftly and she was so supportive emotionally when I had any concerns. She made me feel like the house was meant to be ours from the very beginning.
She is to be honest superb at her job (no, I am not related or friends with anyone at robin king! Lol)
All the staff I spoke to on the phone should Ruth be out on another viewing, were professional and polite and helpful.
They deserve every award they get based on the experience I have had with them.

Unbelievably good! Every person we dealt with in Robin King's Congresbury office was positive, helpful, professional, responsive and and reliable : throughout they were enthusiastic about the house we were selling and provided sound advice and reassurance in equal measures at just the right times (unlikely a well known National estate agent we tried previously!).Ruth Treasure-Smith stands out in particular - she has an inherent and uncanny ability to communicate at just the right time. Simply brilliant!

Very disappointed with Robin King Lettings as they have some nice properties. I want to share our experience to avoid it happening to others.
Despite paying a significant amount of rent the cooker, dishwasher, plumbing, heating and electric garage door were not functioning properly at the start of the tenancy, Added to which, when you turned on the lights in the kitchen - it tripped the whole circuit. This was written on the inventory but no one felt the need to do warn us! Over a week later - I am still waiting for a new dishwasher, the cooker repair is scheduled for next weeks so has been unusable for 10 days, the heating is not working properly and neither is the garage door.
While Robin King have been responsive to some of the issues my point is that the property should have been up and ready for when we moved in, especially as this is only a short term let. I have not been offered any compensation from the landlord and will have to pay the full rent this month.
Learn from our mistake and check everything is working properly before you move - turn on taps, lights, cookers etc as you can't rely on the landlord or agent, all they want is to get the property rented as quickly as possible so they can have their money. Overall a very disappointing, expensive and necessarily stressful experience.

Their accessibility and service is second to none, with dedicated staff performing to a high standard on all occasions. We saw our new home advertised through Robin Kings website. When we were shown around the property we were very impressed with the quality of the viewing appointment,(thank you Margaret). As a result, we decided to market our property through Robin King. From start to finish we could not fault the service received. The marketing of our property, the arrangement of viewings right through to the sale of our home and purchase of the new property. Communication between all parties was prompt, efficient and made what can be a very stressful event, more manageable. Thank you to all involved at Robin King in helping us find our fabulous new home.
