Ewemove Holme Valley are fantastic from start to finish! I originally became aware of Ewemove Holme Valley when I went to view a house that they were selling. David was by far the most helpful and friendly estate agent that I had met (and I'd met quite a few), who had a genuine passion for selling, but also wanted to be sure of what my requirements were. As a result, I asked him to come and value my house. The effort that he and Lorna put in to personalising my valuation, to ensure that they would be able to get me the best possible price as well as their honesty, made it clear to me that they would be the ones to sell my house. Throughout the whole selling process, David and Lorna were transparent, helpful, professional and responsive. The best thing about their service for me personally though, was that I could ring and ask them for advice whenever I needed (and I did!). If they can't pick up the phone, they will definitely get back to you in a timely fashion and they will keep you informed all the way through. I could not recommend them enough. I didn't buy the house they were selling, but they dealt with my sale admirably, it was sold quickly, and they still gave me invaluable advice about the house I was buying, even though it wasn't one of theirs. Lorna Carrighan went above and beyond anything we have experienced with estate agents before when we viewed a house in Armitage Bridge. Her professionalism friendly manner and enthusiasm along with her knowledge of the local area was amazing. We were also really impressed with how quickly and positively she responded with any questions that we had and when I made a mistake and booked the wrong viewing date, she sorted it out for me immediately. David's book, The 39 Steps, was very useful in preparing our home for viewing. We had the usual glitches associated with house moving of course, and David guided us through these seamlessly. As we haven't moved house in a long time David was there to answer any questions we had and offer advice. Lorna's photography was excellent and once I saw the brochure I had second thoughts about selling as she made our house look so good! Overall a great experience. Ten out of ten for David and Lorna. My husband and I saw a property listed on the Ewemove website and decided to go and have a look around, it's been the best decision we've made! David Carrigan from the Holme Valley branch showed us around and we fell in love with it. We hadn't even thought about putting our house on the market at this point, but David being the professional he is, came straight back to our property with us after the viewing. We were going on holiday the next day, but Lorna came and took the pictures while we were off, they got the brochure together and it went live on the internet on the Sunday tea time when we got back. David called us at 9pm that evening (I don't think there's an hour in the day when he wasn't available!!) to say we had got 4 viewings booked already. These took place on the Wednesday and we had an offer that same day and sold the house!! I really can't recommend them enough, if you are looking for a professional, efficient, friendly, first class service, then David and Lorna are your guys!... Read more

I met David whilst viewing one of his properties. I was very sceptical about estate agents as I had had a very unpleasant and distressing experience with the estate agent selling my property. I relisted my property with Ewemove and it was the best move I ever made… literally. David and Lorna’s professionalism and experience shone through in their knowledge and respect for their client. Their marketing strategy is second to none even visiting at 10pm at night to get gorgeous evening photos of the garden…. needless to say my property sold in 6 days! Moving house is stressful, so my partner and I doubled the stress by selling two houses at the same time. Lorna and Dave Corrigan visited and gave straight forward advice on a selling price, backing this up with research and knowledge. They produced amazing brochures that almost dragged the buyers through the door vetting them along the way to weed out the people who were not in a position to buy. The road was a bumpy one, with people lower down the chain having every conceivable issue, causing delays, Lorna tackled this head on keeping us informed of every bump, resolution and mitigation. She was available day and night to discuss progress or lack thereof. responding to emails immediately and answering the phone promptly. It is only when you have a difficult time can you see the true colours of the agents and in this case they came shining through bright and lovely with both houses selling and we survived to tell the tale. I invited David and Lorna Carrighan form EweMove Home Valley branch to come and value our property because I wanted to appoint an estate agent who ran their own business and would really care about customer service. From beginning to end David and Lorna provided an excellent client experience, with regular updates, feedback and management of the chain. David was upfront and realistic about the market value and provided sound advice on preparing the house for sale. David and Lorna booked a time to take photos of the house and they took a huge amount of care in how they presented the house through images and accompanying copy. In no time we had viewings and we accepted an offer within three about weeks of going on the market. The following months saw several set backs further down the chain but David stepped in to find alternative buyers for our buyer. He completely managed the process all the way through and communication with us was impeccable all the way. This estate agent is the most personable and thorough agent we have ever dealt with. I received an out of hours call regarding our viewing, where Lorna spoke with genuine enthusiasm and warmth about the house. We were met promptly and shown around the property again engaging us and drawing our attention to the features. As aftercare we received a lovely email and a personal video tour of the house - taken just after we had left, referring to personal details such as features we had commented on and mentioning our sons names when observing bedroom allocation. I am so impressed with this service. We had viewed many houses and never had such a personal and enthusiastic attention from the first call to the follow-up. In a sea of impersonal online estate agents and local agents who in our experience lack care and warmth this company stands out.
