Contacted for a viewing of a property, advised person that dealt with viewings was out of the office, my contact details left and promised call back later that day, asked if I would require mortgage etc, informed them I was a cash buyer.
No call back received that day Thursday, chased again and promised call back the following Monday, nothing, called again on Wednesday and informed property had been sold and they were not entertaining anymore viewings.

I have been so pleased with the care and attention they have given to all aspects of my business with them. I always received great advice from the Lettings team (Justine in particular) whenever I needed it. Later, the transfer between Lettings and Sales was seamless. The sale had a few unforeseen pitfalls along the way and the staff at Ferris kept me in the loop throughout (Theresa in particular) and worked hard to get things back on track in record time. This branch made every step of my purchase process so effortless, there was always someone available to talk to, when I had to go back to renegotiate price due to high interest rates making it difficult to get a mortgage product that works for BTL, they were very understanding and helped to communicate it to the vendor so it’s a win win for me as a buyer and the vendor.
At completion they delivered a lovely indoor plant and card.
I’ll love to do business with them again and again.

Recently sold rental property in UK, whilst living abroad.
Chose to use Ferris and Co, as they had been doing a good job with renting the property.
Communications with both Ferris team, our solicitors and sellers solicitors was excellent, and kept the process going, key to a quick, painless sale.
Buyer had date they needed to complete by, plus Christmas added some delay. But the deadline was easily achieved, delivering a sale in Feb.
We received clear and regular updates, which considering the time difference was a lot to ask, but the team achieved.
Overall it was a great choice, that worked well from our perspective to deliver a quick and painless sale.

I placed an offer for a property with this company after seeing it the same day as it going on the market and I offered towards the top end of the region. They then told me the vendors had more viewings booked in and they'd update me that Tuesday. I heard nothing so waited till Wednesday afternoon for an update. They then told me that there were further viewings on the Saturday and they would update me then. Saturday came and I was showing a friend the house and I saw that it was marked as sold. I then called the agents 5 times with no answer and left a voicemail asking for a return call. When I finally spoke to someone, she wasn't overly helpful and said she was just reading notes. I then said why wasn't I given a phone call to let me know the property had sold with someone else or given the chance to put a counter offer in to which she couldn't really provide an answer. Appalling customer service and clearly don't have their sellers best interests in mind.

Ferris & Co were recommended to me by another Estate Agent I had used before, but who was in the process of retiring. Ferris impressed me from the outset. Friendly and responsive, I spoke to several of their staff, and found them very effective in combination as a team and unusually good at offering constructive suggestions about how to market the property. They were very quick to review it in person and get appealing pictures up on the internet. They communicated very effectively with me initially about brochure content, and then later were very timely in reporting their progress in booking viewings, obtaining feedback from the viewers, and responding to it in future sales conversations. The result was an agreed sale within a week. Ferris and Co have comfortably and continuously exceeded my expectations, including liaising with both the buyers' and my solicitors to keep up the momentum of getting the sale to a speedy completion. Based on my experience, I have no hesitation in recommending them to others seeking to sell a property.

We had been tied in with a well-know local agent for 20 weeks who failed to even send us prospective buyers, let alone sell our property. When the contract ended we looked for alternative agents, and spoke to 3 local companies. Tim Ferris was brilliant; local, knowledgeable, and honest. No tie-in, and a very low commission %. The house had 2 viewings within 2 weeks of listing and one made an offer.
Helen from the sales progression team, was utterly fantastic! She remained calm and in control throughout, liaising with the buyers, their solicitors and the buyers at the bottom of the chain. She was definitely part of the reason the sale progressed as it did and we can't thank her enough for all the hard work we know she put in.
We would highly recommend Ferris and Co in Bearsted to any prospective sellers. Avoid like the plague the companies who tie you in with contracts and sales patter, there is no incentive for them to sell and they won't - choose Ferris instead :)

Absolute trash Estate Agents!
Tom Lennard confirmed my viewing today to see a 2 bed maisonette. He was made aware that I'll be driving down from London to Maidstone for the viewing, upon arrival outside the property I was told by Tom that I couldn't view the Maisonette as the tenants still live there! What kind of person confirms a viewing without checking that the property is actually vacant! To add further insult to the injury I was told by the Manager Julie "we dont have your contact number" therefore couldn't notify you! (Which is also bs as they have all client contact details prior to all bookings/viewing) Julie the manager has no customer service skills. I still await a call from TIM FERRIS! If no stars was an option I would have selected that! AVOID!

I had the pleasure of Mr Tim Ferris valuing my house. To say I was shocked is an understatement. I asked if he would mind not parking on my drive. To my astonishment his reply ( extremely animated) was" let's just leave it, forget it"
He was very rude throughout the whole of the valuation. I have never been treated so unprofessionally by anyone, let alone the owner of what I thought was a reputable company. Shocking and wholly unpleasant.
I would not recommend anyone to use this company and have to endure the ignorance of a so called business man.

AVOID! AVOID! Not honest, misleading adverts, as a matter of fact they lie to you even on paperwork by giving false information.
Going through the process of purchasing, we found out that the Maintenance Charge of the property was up to 5 times more expensive than advertised. That is a very important piece of information which could have had an irriversable financial effect on us, and, they choose deliberately to hide it to the client.
I would advise to think twice before using them.

Wish I could give them no stars!!! Avoid!!!!! The Manager and husband stole cameras from outside a rented property my friends were renting and used the cameras in there own home!! Generally poor service. Whilst renting a property in Leeds Village (some time ago now) through Ferris, I can confirm they certainly don't act on behalf of 'the tenant', let's just put it that way! Whilst it wasn't the worst service in the world; i'm certainly not champing at the bit to deal with them again .... in fact, i'd rather not.
