I and a flatmate letted a flat for 3 years with no real issues. If anything came up that would require assistance with Fieldhouses response was always prompt and solved the issue we had. We never had any issues during our tenancy that they couldnt solve and I would say they were great in all aspects.

Very disappointed with the level of service. What started off as a promising experience quickly turned into a frustrating ordeal. The staff have been unhelpful and dismissive, and it's been nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone from the office — my calls are being completely ignored. I expected much better communication and professionalism.

As a tenant (for 6 years) of a property managed by Fieldhouse Residential I could not be more impressed with the service I have received from Ben, Leah & Natalie from the day the tenancy began. All paperwork was handled quickly, any inspections required were always done promptly and efficiently, and on the one occasion an electrical repair was needed it was actioned immediately. Everything was always done with just the right balance of friendliness and professionalism & I have no hesitation in recommending Fieldhouse.

Highly unprofessional from my recent experience. Had a viewing 30 minutes from home and during working hours. When I arrived at the property I entered the building and the doorman talked to me as if I was a burglar or wanted to steal something. No one from the agency was here so he called someone (‘non of my business’ was the answer I received when I asked who it was speaking with in front of me) and I was then told to go away and reschedule. I wasn’t provided a phone number by the agent (not even in the confirmation email), therefore could not call and sent an email but received no answer and therefore left.
And I eventually received the explanation. The property had been rented the day before and no one bothered to let me know.... Note I received a confirmation at 7am in the morning to confirm the viewing!

In the summer of 2022 we started renting a property in Basingstoke let by Fieldhouse. From the beginning, Leah was nice and friendly. Then, when the old heating system failed due to the age of the wires, Theresa and the landlord immediately replaced the non-working units with new ones. Both Leah and Theresa are genuinely nice people, who behave like people, not representatives of a company.
The landlord, we believe, is a special person. During our two year stay, there was just one modest increase in rent, from 700 to 750 pounds, if I remember correctly. Compared to the prices being asked by other landlords and estate agents, this is around 20 % below market. Also during our stay here, our gift from God, our little daughter was born. The landlord was fine with this. If there is one regret, it is that we did not get to meet him and say thank you in person. Therefore, if you are reading this message, we sincerely thank you for your human qualities.

Awful experience – I wish I could leave less than 1 star. I was a tenant in a flat rented through this agency for 18 months. (No doubt they will respond to this, like many other low-scoring reviews, claiming they don’t recognize my name and that I haven’t rented through them – a great way to gaslight people ????????).
I arranged to leave my contract early and replace my name on the tenancy. Everything seemed fine until it came to retrieving my deposit and obtaining a reference for my new home. Both tasks were nearly impossible to achieve. They made the process difficult at every stage, adding to the stress of moving. It felt like they were deliberately trying to make the experience even more troublesome.
I dealt with Hannah and Teresa at Fieldhouse and was genuinely appalled by how I was spoken to and treated. They advised new tenants to deduct money from my deposit for cleaning and moving-in fees, which is not standard practice. They also did not follow TDS regulations for deposit returns when handling a change of name on a tenancy. Furthermore, they refused to provide a reference until all paperwork was completed and the Deed of Assignment was signed by all parties. This policy is baffling, as the four other agencies I’ve dealt with in the past never enforced such a rule, making it nearly impossible to secure a new place before moving out.
Please avoid dealing with this agency. There are literally thousands of better options in London!

Saw a property on Rightmove, and so I called to enquire about viewing a property, and the lady said she doesn't deal with that, and was very standoffish.
She then asked me what my situation is, and I explained I'm a homeowner, and I'd like to view a property I've seen online - "right..." - and then it felt off, as though I had to explain that I'd be looking to view the property, potentially put in an offer, sell my home in Englefield Green, etc...
She then said "Oh, I know exactly which property you're talking about, and they already have 4 offers: 2 cash buyers, and 2 first time buyers." and dismissed me.

Very disappointing service. Three professionals in our 30s with good incomes. Agreed on a let, paid deposit, went through referencing only for landlord to decide they no longer wanted to rent to us a little over a week out from the agreed move in date. Would have been nice to have been given the courtesy of working through matters constructively with the agency/landlord, however we were not afforded that opportunity. No fair process followed at all.
The power these landlords/agencies seem to think they have is egregious. Not a care in the world for the impact their decisions have on people. Having already provided notice on our current living situations, arranged furnishing for the new place etc.
It's a sad world we live in where it feels like you have to go above and beyond to prove you are good people. The irony is that you truly couldn't get three better tenants.

Poor communication with customers and between staff. Called twice to try and organize a viewing and was told I would be called back by someone else but wasn't. Then finally talked to someone who couldn't book us in for a viewing and the next day the property was gone. We had been trying to organise a viewing for almost a week and if they had been responsive and helpful we would've been able to offer on the property but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Furthermore the number that zoopla directs you to when you call is different to the one on Google, it seems on the Google one they will listen to you but not if you call through zoopla.

?????????? All we can say about Fieldhouse Residential Ltd is that they are all GREAT. We have been private renting with other agencies in UK and nothing is comparable to them.
We don’t have many issues at home but when we need them, Leah, Ben, Hannah, Teresa…they are always there, making everything really easy.
We are now in our 5th year of renting and not thinking to move from agency as we feel secured and supported.
I saw few little bad reviews here, but trust me! You will not find any others like them around!

I applied for an apartment right after I viewed it, I tried to be in touch via email with the person that was taking care of the viewings but Leah never got back to me with an update. As a matter of fact, I might still be receiving an email saying I got the property, after 2 months. ????

The holding deposit that they take will not guarantee you that they will check referencing and then decide. They gave the flat that aI was interested to another person although my references were passed and I paid the full holding deposit for the flat.
Limited staff means you can't view your flat if you want to rent it.
Unclear instruction on how to pass references, they only make excuses blaming the landlord.
Very unpleasant experience.

Avoid like the plague.
After having our offer accepted by the landlord, I emailed the estate agents asking when the appliance due to be replaced would be replaced, and whether the intercom would be fixed as we had noticed it was broken.
A senior member of staff called Theresa called me back and was extremely rude and unprofessional, ranting at how they weren't going to be renovating the place for us (...which we didn't ask them to), that they'd (apparently) never heard of issues with the intercom before, and interrogating me as to how I knew this. She asked me not to put a holding deposit down and said that viewings would continue.
So congratulations to whoever gets that apartment! You will be gifted a broken intercom, an appliance that may or may not be replaced before you move in, and the wonderful management of a clearly shambolic company and nasty woman who will kick off at you if you ever report any problem with your home.
We withdrew our offer immediately as there were so many red flags that this was going to be the kind of estate agent that takes months to get back to you about any problem and when they do, it will inevitably be your fault. Couldn't believe how we were being treated before we were even tenants! I pity the landlords who clearly miss out on income as a result of this individual's behaviour and the tenants who have to put up with their nonsense.
It is only fair to say that the first and second estate agents we had contact with who were less senior were very lovely and helpful, it's a shame the senior staff/management aren't anywhere near as mature and professional.

Hannah is extremely knowledgeable and has both tenant and landlords best interests which is rare with the larger agency's. After a terrible experience with my previous agents I was a bit apprehensive and always feared the worst. Thankfully I was wrong and everything so far has been excellent with Fieldhouse. The paperwork and pre-move in things were sorted out very quickly so we could move into a nice clean flat on time. Fieldhouse have been very responsive and I'm much happier in the new property and with the service I've received.

Avoid at all costs. Just like others have said on here this agency tries to keep your deposit. They are incredibly unprofessional. I rented with them for two years from 2016-2018 and in the end I had to go to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme who had to help me get my deposit back as Fieldhouse were refusing. I dealt with two agents called Hannah and Teresa, both have worked there for a few years and both were incredibly unprofessional and rude, refusing to answer my questions or calls even though I paid them agency fees. It’s funny that on every bad review on here, Fieldhouse responds with ‘Dear NAME, unfortunately we do not recognise you as a Tenant who has rented through our Agency so we are unable to comment any further on your review.’ An unprofessional way to deal with bad reviews- pretending people haven’t rented with them in order to avoid commenting and avoid improving their services! I wonder if they will also write this in response to my review...

We were very pleased with the professional and friendly services provided by all the team of Property Fieldhouse Residential, during the experience of rented with them.
All the staff is very kind and helpful, specially thanks to Hanna, she went beyond what is expected. She always responds promptly and even helped us to finished our contract in the best way possible.
I would definitely recommend Property Fieldhouse if you are looking to rent a new property. If you are looking for one of their properties, go for it!
You will be renting with an honest and professional agency. They do not overcharged you, have reasonable rates and are extra careful with the tenants, always anticipating their needs.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! LANDLORD OF 32 WESTCOTT ROAD SE17(if your reading this you lost out on £50PCM more rent & us paying 6 months in advance and a 18 month contract!!!!) if you don't have a posh Chelsea accent and you get stuck with Archie Leng on a viewing he will look you up and down then refuse to deal with you. He ignored all texts and calls from the moment we left the viewing about putting an offer forward. after trying him countless times in the office we got though to the rudest lady(I say lady due to the fact she didn't even have the decency to introduce herself) , in all my years I have ever been so spoken down to and belittled in all my life my friend and I was driving from London to back home in Liverpool and spent the whole journey in a state of shock!! she point blank refused to put are offer forward on a rental property, even when we offered £50 more per month, as she stated someone else had put an offer forward the night before when Archie Leng informed us at the viewing we was the first to see it!!!!! even with our increased offer she said "oh we don't look for higher offers here, and I have already spoken to the landlord earlier today so that means I wont be calling him again until tomorrow" sorry! but I have worked for many years in lettings as well and if someone called up with an offer which is higher its my main duty to make that landlord as much money as possible and informing him that DAY not waiting till tomorrow! the level of stock this agent has on its books really shows for the service! and a FAMILY RUN COMPANY? Please don't make me laugh! every little thing we tried to say and do was STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH from 18 month contracts, to increased offers and paying 6 months in advance I really don't know what we did so wrong to be treated so bad, it still baffles me now. the ONLY reason I can think of is the fact we was born in Liverpool and not a red trouser Hermes belt wearing Chelsea boy. But at least I have morals and know how to treat people! We found a property with a much better agent only on the next street and will be contacting the tenant that moves in this property for the landlords details as they need to know how poorly they have been represented!!

Friendly and professional from the word go. I was a tenant with Fieldhouse for around 18 months and had no issues at all with them. Whenever there was communication it was performed in a professional manner and with quick responses to any queries. The end of tenancy was managed well and they remained friendly and professional, unlike previous experiences I have had with other agents. Following end of tenancy check out I received the check out report within the week and return of my deposit within 10 days of check out. I would definitely use Fieldhouse again and recommend to anyone looking to rent. Thank you very much to the Fieldhouse team.

As someone new to the Buy to Let market, I'll admit it was a bit daunting to be investing a considerable amount of money with no real re-assurance about being able to rent out a property quickly and have a smooth transition into letting.
I was recommended to Fieldhouse Residential by a member of my Family, and whilst my property was some distance from their office they were more than happy to offer their services and more importantly spend the time to walk through the different considerations I needed to make as a Landlord.
I engaged them early as I had to make provisions for my Mortgage company to see draft letting agreements and supporting documentation for the agency I wished to use. Fieldhouse Residential were quick and very helpful in getting this packaged together and ready to send to the Finance Company.
To add they even found tenants prior to the completion date who were eager to move in. Having the names in a draft agreement, meant the Finance company could not throw the money at me quick enough! After arranging their reference checks swiftly, it was less then a 3 week wait from me getting the keys, to being able to pass them over to my new tenants.
Just over 6 months on, the tenants have been perfect, Fieldhouse Residential have maintained a great relationship and are more then happy to provide me updates, suggest next investment opportunities and just generally support me as a Client the way I had hoped from the beginning.
If you are after a company who will bend over backwards for you whether a Landlord or a Tenant I cannot recommend Fieldhouse Residential enough.
