Do not rent with them. We rented a flat small basement flat that had mold and damp the whole time, which was not at all addressed despite mulitple emails. And yet, they have taken nearly our whole deposit.
During our veiwing the estate agent pointed out that the flat needed new floors, but when it came to us moving out, apparently we had been the ones to damage the floors such that the whole flat needed new floors... convenient.
Shameful that landlords backed by estate agents like Foster & Co are still allowed to get away with ripping off tenants.

Mark and all the team at Foster & Co were exceptional throughout the process of selling my property and went the extra mile.
From superb photos and marketing to the viewings, Mark managed the sale of the property in a professional and calm way. He was always available to answer questions and give advice when needed.
A number of hiccups were thrown up and the team helped with everything, pushing it forward and managing a lot of complicated parties.

Half the time the engineer / work person is in my home before the office has even had a chance to respond. Jessie was amazing from the get go!
She sold the property to me from the garden area before we even stepped inside.
Both Ed & Jessie were great with negotiation to reach a reasonable offer accepted.
Throughout the sale Jessie was always on hand to nudge the seller & move things along swiftly. We ended up completing within 12 weeks all thanks to the team at Foster & Co.

The estate agent from Foster & Co who just showed a prospective tenant around our rented flat just outright lied to the prospective tenant TWICE, right in front of me.
The prospective tenant's questions:
1. 'Is the landlord alright?' The agent answered 'yeah, we've had no problems'. This comes after I had explained to the agent 2 weeks ago how I had felt threatened by the landlord after a recent conversation with him and no longer felt comfortable being on my own around him.
2. 'Is it gas central heating?' The agent answered 'yes'. The flat actually has an electric boiler (as mentioned to the agent 2 weeks ago) and therefore costs 3x the amount of a gas boiler. VERY important information for a new tenant to know before they put in an offer.

Terrible experience with the. My experience retrieving my security deposit was appalling. The landlord unfairly demanded a hefty cleaning fee for my studio, disregarding my dispute. Although the property was professionally cleaned, they cited minor debris as justification for the charge, yet failed to provide any receipt or evidence of a professional cleaning service. I still haven't received my deposit back and they keep on ignoring all my requests and come to an arrangement.

From evaluation to completion we had such a seamless experience. The valuation of the house was in our opinion the most realistic compared to others we received and Foster and Co worked with us to realise the best value for the property.
The images taken showed the house in all its glory and the people who came to view the property were all genuine so no time wasters.
Communication was swift and reliable and within two months of being on the market our house was sold at we believe full market value.
We would definitely use foster and Co again and recommend them to anyone selling a high end property, which is what our property was.

Jessie was the nicest estate agent I have met. She made me feel cared for and supported me throughout the process giving me any information I didn’t know. She’d send me messages often asking how the sale was going and would offer to communicate with the sellers or solicitors when we hadn’t heard news. We were really happy with the relationship we had with Jessie at Foster and Co. She couldn't have done more for us and even answered a quick query from her holiday. She was friendly, engaging and never made you feel like you were too much. It is stressful buying a property and she was a total pro at making us feel secure in our process. We had problems with our flat sale as the buyer changed from buying privately to buying as a business right at the last minute - but even through this stormy stress, Jessie kept us motivated. Both Ed and Charlie are two of the most down to earth, honest and charming Agents I’ve met over the last 10 years living (and 4 times buying & selling) in Brighton. We found our dream house through them and they sold ours very quickly in a difficult market. We were never put under any pressure by them, and were given informed, honest advise as per the best strategy required to sell. You have to be realistic, but that’s not easy for an Agent to deliver to a Vendor.
Throughout the sale they were available and accomdating of our requests, which filled us with confidence. Thank you as well for the beautiful flowers we recieved on completion.
