I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the property management service provided by Freckeltons, specifically concerning the handling of issues by Michael Massey. It's clear that there are significant problems with accountability and responsiveness. Our complaints, which have also been raised by several other residents, have consistently been ignored. Despite multiple attempts to communicate via phone calls and even in-person visits to the office, our concerns have not been addressed in a timely or appropriate manner. It appears that there is a fundamental lack of commitment to taking responsibilities seriously, which has led to ongoing issyues and a failure to maintain the property as expected. For anyone considering using Freckeltons for property management, I would urge you to be cautious. The collective experience of a number of residents indicates a pattern of poor service and a disinterest in resolving tenant issues. This is a clear problem that needs to be addressed for the sake of all residents. Update 20th September 2025, freckletons have refused to carry on talk to me now, told me to go get a lawyer. Tell me they would sort some things out, times very vague.. from past experience can take years if repaired properly at all. Picture spike louder than words.... Read more

A History of Unresolved Issues and Refusal to Communicate Our experience with this company has been deeply frustrating. We have been dealing with ongoing maintenance issues for over a year, yet progress has been consistently slow and the work performed has been to a poor standard. Key issues that remain unaddressed include: * No Timelines or Action: The roof has been known about for a long time. The company has stated it has allocated funds for the roofing program and even has a special reserve fund, but they are still waiting for insurance rather than simply repairing it. This has left a hole there for a long time, and we have received no clear timeframes for when any of the work will actually be done. * Inconsistent Rules: The company has an unfair and inconsistent approach to its own rules. While our request for a small motorcycle pod was denied based on the terms of the lease, a much larger shed remains on the property. The company has provided misinformation about how long the shed has been there, which we have evidence to disprove. * Broken Promises & Lack of Care: We were told a different team would be brought in to do the cleaning properly when the regular cleaner was in the hospital, but this never happened. This lack of follow-through, along with the numerous issues we have had to document ourselves, shows a complete disregard for resident well-being and is a clear failure of their responsibilities. * Refusal to Engage: The company has now stated there will be no further reply to our emails. This refusal to communicate came from Michael Massey himself, who informed us that he has spoken with the Company Secretary and that the company considers the matter closed. They also told us to go to legal. We feel they are trying to waste our time and avoid taking responsibility for the significant time and stress this has caused. * Differing Charges: We are also concerned about the differing charges among residents. We find it difficult to accept that service charges may increase when there has been no professional work done to justify the current fees. This experience has been a clear example of mismanagement and a complete lack of transparency. If you are considering using this company, be aware that you may find yourself in a similar situation with no way to get a resolution. Before you make a decision, look at what their maintenance charges are.... Read more

Great team at Freckeltons and we really enjoy working with them. They manage our RTM building and since coming in last January have helped us to fix all the issues left undone by the previous agents. Like a breathe of fresh air and always on the ball. We work well with Michael and his team and we have seen a fall in our service charges as a result which is great news for all our leaseholders. Seriously unhappy with property management, knowingly allowing rented property to degrade with mould over a period of some years while signing off on annual inspections, years of employing the cheapest possible cowboys to do maintenance, has caused of so many issues with property concerned which are now coming to light and which they are trying to blame the tenant for....and they want to put the rent up by approx 25% too! These guys spent a fair bit of time explaining some documents, the general process and kept me posted. I feel like they went above and beyond their duty and felt that they actually cared. I couldn't recommend Kaylee and her team enough at Freckeltons. By far the best estate agents I have used to date. They reply so quickly to emails, fix maintenance issues almost instantly and have always been so helpful if I ever needed advice. I have recently moved out of a Freckelton rented property (moving areas) and the process was just as smooth as the move-in. They made it clear that they wanted me to be able to get my full deposit back, and even said they would let me know if there was anything preventing me from getting it all back. It only took just over a week to get all the inspections done and have my full deposit returned back into my bank account! I really hope I get to rent from Freckeltons again in the future :)... My daughter was high on the list for a property,they never told her that viewings had started,when she rang she was told that it had been given to someone else and they would get someone to ring her Friday but there was no point as it had already been taken,they told her when she applied she would be one of the first to be informed yet she heard nothing,there was no board outside to inform.othets of the property just seems unfair that they never told her, she and her partner both work and have a baby so would have been perfect but now they have to stay in a property they do not want to be In, they have only been at there house as they were waiting for the above property to come available ! Michael from Freckeltons came to value my property and assess my current situation with regards to putting my property onto the market. One option I hadn’t considered was to let my property instead of selling it and Michael even recommended a mortgage broker who would be able to help me with this. This turned out to be great advice and put me in a stronger position with regards to buying a new property. I had been looking for a new property for a while and I have felt that a lot of the estate agents I have dealt with weren’t helpful in the slightest. However, Freckeltons went above and beyond to offer me good, honest advice which will genuinely make a big difference to my future. They have a friendly and knowledgeable team that can answer your questions and genuinely care about their customers. Few months back I emailed to my Landlord through the agent asking for help with my rent due to Covid 19 pandemic it had effected my business so much, as it is very small business anyway, I got the reply from the agent within hour of my email, which I think the agent did not speak to my landlord, on the reply email does not say what my landlord actually said, when I spoke to the agent prior to my email they said to me just pay what Ever you can then they say send us a email to the landlord and we will speak to the landlord but I don’t think they spoke with the landlord, they sent me the invoice for the rent and it was two weeks late and they threatened me to pay the rent within 7 days or I get panellise....
