We recently sold our property with Tristam, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. From the very first meeting, he was open, honest, and straightforward. Unlike some of the high street agents I dealt with in Rickmansworth, Tristam didn’t try to overpromise just to win our instruction. He gave me a fair and realistic valuation, and he still achieved the full asking price for me, which is incredible given the current property market.<br><br>What really stood out was the quality of his work. Every viewing was arranged with qualified buyers, and he always arrived fully prepared with the right information so viewers had their questions answered on the spot. No time-wasting, no pressure tactics, no “let’s price it high and then drop it later” strategy. Just honest, smart work.<br><br>Tristam went above and beyond in so many ways, creating brilliant marketing videos, managing communication with buyers, and staying fully involved right through to completion. Every bump in the road was handled calmly and professionally, and the sales progressor, Jo, was also fantastic. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free.<br><br>For the first time ever, I felt proud to pay an estate agent’s fee, because Tristam actually earned it. We arrived at the property and greeted by very friendly and calm Sam.<br>Sam was welcoming and very professional and knowledgeable about the property and nearby areas.<br>We had few questions which Sam could not answer on spot but she didn’t misguided us rather assured us she would find the answer and let us know which gave us ease that we are with knowledgeable and helpful estate agent.<br>Darren is equally great and been helpful through out ,his knowledge level is above par and always ready to answer queries over call/emails.<br><br>Overall great experience and recommend to anyone looking forward to connect with hardworking and responsive estate agents.

I’d tried a couple of the usual high-street agencies before this, but Hopcroft was on a completely different level. Their social media marketing is way superior to that of any other big companies out there, and that is what we needed to get our property noticed! They were straightforward, quick to act, and actually pushed to get the best price rather than just the fastest sale. We arrived at the property a little early, and Sam greeted us with a smile, which was impressive considering she had just battled London traffic. She politely went in to inform the owners that we had arrived for our viewing. They kindly vacated the property, giving us the space to look around and ask questions at our own pace.<br><br>Sam was welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable about the property. She didn’t give the impression of working solely for the owners or for us. Instead, she seemed dedicated to making the whole process fair and transparent, which is rare in today’s market, often dominated by high-street giants that tend to overvalue everything in London.<br>The tour was logical and detailed. Both Sam and the owners were happy for us to open cupboards and get a clear sense of the available space and storage.<br><br>We had a few questions that Sam couldn’t answer on the spot, but rather than offering vague responses, she was upfront and assured us she would find out, which put our minds at ease.<br>Being locals to the area, we were curious to hear Sam’s perspective on Harrow on the Hill. She had a good understanding of the area and clearly knew the market in which she was working.<br><br>Overall, it was a great viewing experience. If you are looking to buy or sell, choosing a smaller independent agent like this ensures a more authentic experience where you do not feel like you are being sold something that is nowhere near worth the asking price.

Avoid at all costs - their ability to even write a description of your property is challenged - full of errors, poor grammar and they cannot spell. Act without legal authority and have the potential to damage the value of your home. Ignore their reply that they take matters seriously, in fact the owner Darren just ghosts any concerns.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with the purchase of a property managed by Tristam. Having offered the asking price, and that offer being agreed by the sellers, we paid for a structural survey, but were eventually 'gazumped'. 'Gazumping' is not illegal in England and Wales, but it has cost time and money, and a loss of trust. A negative experience.
