Worst company ever to be renting with honestly
Charging us for stuff to improve the flat after we left it in a fair condition we know what you are doing and we will never work with you again
You are doing a betterment charge that will not stand up in court you do it to many people and we have been told this the fact you think that because when we moved in that it was freshly painted that when we move out you are charging for a freshly painted charge 900 pounds at that to use what your cheap nasty b&q paint you used last time that we literally have proff off you using the paint
Also throughout the tenency you never once fixed the problems we have had and raised to you guys
And then have the cheek to charge for a letter box replacement when we moved in the letter box was broken and you could open it with your hands in a block off flats
Totally unprofessional and have no clue how to treat a tenent be hearing from a lawyer soon
Avoid if your a tenent at all cost

We have recently sold our house through Hunters in Gravesend and we cannot fault the service we received throughout.
Firstly the photos and videos that Michael took were of the highest quality. The video was so good that people could definitely zoom in and even see any minute cobwebs we had missed!! (whilst we cringed at this it did mean that any potential buyers could definitely see what the house was like in finite detail).
Michael made sure that we were ready to market before going ahead and he talked us through the whole process. He priced the property to reflect the area, the work we had already done and any future work needed such as a new kitchen).
We quickly received lots of viewings and a prompt offer. Michael and Ryan remained attentive throughout and kept us informed of developments.
Unfortunately the first buyers lost their own buyer and the second buyer was unable to proceed (frustrating for us and Hunters - and added about £500 to our legal costs... but that's down to the English property system).
Hunters quickly found us a third buyer and, again, kept us informed throughout.
Michael, in particular, went above and beyond and worked tirelessly to help our buyer and ourselves, whilst keeping the rest of the chain's agents and legal representatives informed of progress.
We can't thank Michael enough for everything he did to assist, and we also thank Ryan who also had a lot of input. Both were polite, respectful and hardworking and are an asset to Hunters.
We hope not to have to go through this process again, but do highly recommend Hunters in Gravesend to any future sellers/buyers.

I was really impressed with Ryan’s ability and determination to get an incredibly frustrating chain exchanged today. We are delighted that we decided to go with hunters to sell our house. The house we purchased coincidentally was also with hunters. We were lucky enough to deal with Ryan who was Amazing! Ryan kept us up to date with all parties involved constantly, he pushed all solicitors the whole way to get us in for Christmas (which we achieved). He was so patient and polite the whole way through. We also dealt with Michael when Ryan had his days off, another credit to Hunters he always knew what was going on and would pick up anything for us when Ryan was away. They were supposed to call me back to confirm the floor the property was on but they didn't... They refused to book a viewing specifically for me. Told me to tag along to an already arranged one for the next day at 14.30. They took my number to call if I didn't show. I travelled from London in order to view the property and at 14.30 there was nobody there... No calls and nothing... On my way back to the station at 14.50 I bumped into the agent with the other potential buyers. He said the viewing had been scheduled for 14.45... He then could not open the flat. He had the wrong keys and had to go back to the office to swap... He ordered us to wait for him 3 floors down... Never seen anything as disorganised, unprofessional and rude. It was my mistake to call back and arrange the viewing when they didn't in spite of saying they would. I have learnt a lesson here. I would not trust these people with a matter as serious as buying property apart from the fact that I will not allow estate agents to treat me with such rudeness again.

Offensive customer service from the Property manager. clearly i wasn't dressed in an elaborate or showy manner as such on arrival she concluded i couldn't afford the property. sad, you felt the need to judge someone before actually knowing them. i believe a credit check is usually done in place for this purpose. very poor service i received i must say. Please if you do decide to use this firm, make sure you are suited and booted. no tracksuits!

I only have positive feedback for the service i received. There was no "pushy" second hand car salesman type approach, instead i had a very professional, courteous and knowledgeable sales agent in Zac.
Within a week of giving the go ahead to put my flat up for sale, an open day had been arranged with numerous potential buyers. I achieved an offer above the listed valuation, which market conditions at the time dictated, but i truly believe that Zac's knowledge of the market and professionalism during the open day had a major influence on this.
I was kept up to date on the progress of the sale on a regular basis and couldn't have had a more relaxed approach to selling my flat.
I would definitely recommend Miles and Barr to anyone who is thinking of selling and in particular Zac.

I've been using Miles & Barr for years now and have never had an issue. Zac helped me buy my first flat and even put me in touch with a great mortgage broker to make the process even easier. Then when I decided to rent it out, they helped me find tenants really quickly. Anne and Zac have been managing the property ever since so I don't have to worry about chasing rent or arranging repairs which means I'm totally stress free. I'll soon be renting out another property and I've no doubt that will be just as painless.
