We recently sold our property through Acorn estates. It was a long drawn out process with lots of hiccups over 6 months! Whilst the staff at the estate agency were very helpful, the partners (ie mortgage advisors, solicitors) that Acorn use, sometimes did not make the process easy with long delays in responding to queries and concerns.
Saying that, our saving grace was the Branch Manager, Chloe, who had our back as soon as we began experiencing difficulties with the process. We had daily calls with her and she worked tirelessly to liaise with all parties involved, in her pleasantly assertive manner, to help us push and get the sale over the line in time for Christmas. Thank you Chloe, you are a force to be reckoned with and Acorn are so lucky to have you!

From the very first viewing, Ezze was just incredible – genuinely patient, reassuring and on top of every detail. And honestly, that energy carried through the entire journey. The whole sales team at Acorn Gravesend were so helpful, always ready to chase things up and get answers from the vendor whenever we needed clarity.
Mai and Paige from the head office deserve a special shout-out too. They were amazing at keeping the communication flowing between our solicitor and the vendor’s solicitor, which saved us a lot of stress.
Overall, Acorn Gravesend and the wider Acorn group made the whole process feel smoother than we ever expected. We’re grateful, happy and honestly would recommend them 100%.

I would without hesitation recommend Acorn estate agents. We felt our house was quite hard to sell given the on street parking and busy road location. However they sold it within the first week of marketing it. Ezze was fantastic. One of our key requirements and stipulations was that we wanted to be kept up to date on a regular basis and ensure our estate agent was contactable. Ezze was always available and could be reached with ease. We had regular weekly updates, his cheerful demeanour was always welcome and makes dealing with Acorn hassle free. Then we come to ever reliable and super organised Chloe who worked tirelessly to ensure the sale progressed quickly and efficiently. Despite being new to Acorn, she owned it. The chain was a long chain with 6 houses. Chloe again was always reachable and managed the after sales process making the process extremely easy and stress free for us. We made the right choice with Acorn and would not hesitate to use them again. WL2025.

Their agent William lied to me about a property being ‘sold’ so that he could sell it to another acorn seller (under the asking price) and get double commission. I only found out as the seller of the property found out himself when someone knocked on his door saying the estate agent was refusing them a viewing, so he contacted me on social media. While repeatedly saying I’d love the property at other viewings and him saying it was already sold, he was telling the seller I was ignoring his calls and emails and didn’t want the property. I was ignored by William when I asked for an explanation and his manager just to brush it off as no big deal and said I should’ve forced an offer. Not what you say to a first time buyer who trusted their agent. I wouldn’t be surprised if this happened to some of the 5 star reviews unknowingly. Seller lost out on nearly 20 grand and still hasn’t sold the property. By the time I found out, I had already exchanged elsewhere.

Sellers Beware !! Illegal, underhanded untrustworthy.
This agent withheld offers from me as a seller. William the manager has admitted he told a person who was making an offer, £19,000 more than the offer put forward by him, that I had a private sale to deter their offer from being put forward.
This was In preference to them getting commission from two sales, as the offer they put forward to me was with a potential buyer who agreed to sell their house through Acorn too.
William is a convincing liar. He told me the person who actually offered more hadn’t been in touch after their viewing, although his conversations were recorded and exposed his lies.
Avoid at all costs - go elsewhere!!!!

I know estate agents have a bad name but with regards to Will and his team at Acorn this is totally unjustified. He worked really hard to iron out the niggles that was holding up the sale of our house and kept us informed of any updates. I know some people think that the fees charged are over the top but he really earnt it. If I would want to sell my new house one day I will definitely use them again and would have no reservations in recommending them to friends and family.

Although the property I ultimately purchased was through another agent I have been so impressed with the service I have received from Acorn, throughout 18 months of searching for our first home and being registered with every agent locally Acorn were the only agent that ever kept in touch with me and gave regular courtesy calls and emails to check in with how my house hunting was going. Everyone I have dealt with at Acorn have been so genuine, patient, friendly and made the whole experience a lot less daunting, especially Jonathan and Alicia. With other agents it has sometimes felt like I am an inconvenience when I made enquiries or just a number on a long list of interested parties but never with Acorn and this has made them stand out by a mile for me

I have never ever used estate agents before.... This was my first time looking for a place to live due to very unfortunate and quite urgent circumstances. After many many different sites and frankly a head ache I came across Karolina Jay. Not only did she reply immediately, she then agreed to show me this flat I live in now immediately as I was in a very unfortunate space between homes in a hotel, she then also listened to me and understood why I needed to see it and why I desperately wanted to have it. She guided me through everything so quickly to ensure I have everything I need to be able to present my case to the landlord. I never ever had to do any of the documentation I needed. I was lost but with her help this truly was a breeze and she helped me I suspect even way past her work hours. I sincerely do not know if I would have received this kind of support from anyone else at that time. This is a credit to who she is as a person, she is not only professional but also kind and understanding. I am grateful beyond words and I will contact her again once I am in a position of buying as there is no one else i would rather have on my side than Karolina Jay.
