Had a terrible experience with one of their landlords. Landlord tried to basically scam us out of our deposit, going as far as to claim for keys that were returned to her and evidenced. The matter went to an adjudicator who ruled mainly in our favour. I'm very disappointed in hunters for associating with such landlords and worse yet, not helping customers in our position. They never once provided any real support eventhough it was clear as day that the landlord just wanted to keep our deposit money. They may seem kind and friendly, but don't try to rely on them when things go wrong and you need them. They need to get their landlords and landladys a lot better than they do. And certainly need to provide support to victims who are renting under them. Fortunately, the laws are now changing in favour of renters. Either way, we won't be dealing with Hunters and I hope anyone reading this heads our caution. We got lucky enough to have enough money to sort out mortgage without needing that deposit back immediately but we could've easily been stranded for doing nothing wrong. It took months to get it back and not a word of apology from hunters when it was all over. Truly disappointing.... Read more
