Asked for a valuation along with a couple of other agents - decided to go with another agent.
Since then they call me all the time, despite me repeatedly (at least 10 times now) telling them to delete all my information from their files and not contact me anymore. I cannot express how irritating it is, and I believe a breach of GDPR as well. Can you just leave me alone???

Moving home is never an easy trouble free business but I can honestly say that Poppy and Grace at Hurfords helped me through every bit of required information, every exasperation and even the odd tear! They chased up documents and pushed the chain along and finally got me settled, as well as doing the same for the rest of the purchasers. I now realise what an emotional business it is for them and how hard they work.
All made evident by the huge smiles and hugs I received when I picked up the keys to my new home.

Tried to book a viewing twice for a property in Wansford. Spoke to someone last Monday who said they’d call me back but didn’t. I called again on Wednesday, explained what had happened earlier in the week, and was told I’d get a call back that afternoon – but again, no call. Both people I spoke to were polite, but it’s been frustrating not to have had a response. I’ve also found it often takes a few calls before someone answers.

Just completed on a purchase of a home. Helen managed the sale side of things. Long time waiting if the offer has been passed-on, or the seller was not responding, not kept posted. Contact was via a office landline, didn't feel like I was getting through, so switched to direct emails & everything was okay.
Mortgage lady Michelle Dunmore was absolutely great. She did all her research for what I wanted & the meeting became more of a formality in agreeing the product.

We recently had work done on our home to extend the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. I was keen to get a valuation so called Hurfords. Josh had been to our home once before and gave us such a great service. Nothing was too much trouble.
I did let them know we didn’t want to move, instead, get an idea of the value of our home with work completed.
Josh happily came along, no pressure, just a friendly, professional and polite attitude.
I would recommend Hurfords and would use them if ever I did decide to move!

I have no complaints!
I found a house which was being marketed by Hurfords which seemingly I loved and that I thought would suit my family before our now previous house was even on the market! Within a couple of days mine was also up for sale with these guys. We set a 2 week deadline for an open house due to the fact that we already knew what we wanted. We had some interest before this day although it was the open house day where we eventually found our buyer. My initial contact was through Josh who was extremely optimistic regarding the sale of my now previous property. I then had most of my communication with Helen, Sandy and Linzi who I will add that I can not speak highly enough for! These girls are outstanding. The sale and purchase had the usual couple of delays. I was fortunate that we was not involved in a big chain. The team did their upmost when these delays occurred and once we finally completed 6 weeks ago I felt that they really were happy for my family and I which I think is a great touch!

What a dreadful experience!
During the 8 months Hurfords took trying to sell my house, four of the team responsible for selling my house left the business. 50% of the arranged viewings were a no-show and the owner of the business ignores emails and fails to follow up on complaints. The most recent member of the Castor team dealing with my sale has lied to me repeatedly and the latest sale wasn't qualified resulting in the property going back to market for a third time.
With the exception of Sandy, the team at Castor really are to be avoided if you want to sell your property. Despite all the Hurfords boards seen across the City, from my experience and talking with others, Hurfords completion rate really is very disappointing.

Excellent service from Howard (mortgage advisor) who got us an amazing deal on a mortgage and even improved on it when we went back to sign up for it as he had just kept searching for the right deal for us. All done very quickly but thoroughly and professionally. Hurfords are extremely professional and are not just in it for the sale. They GENUINELY want to get the best service for you and the right deal. Joe (negotiator) is also very approachable and professional. He really knows his stuff and is not pushy in any way. All backed up by amazing and personal sales support.

This is the second property I have sold through Hurfords and I have been most pleased with the service so far. I have always been cautious when approaching estate agents, however this is not your typical 'jack-the-lad' team. These guys have really upped their games over the past couple of years with professional photography, account managers and I even had regular communication from a lovely business relationship lady, which really sealed the deal. We are purchasing a house through the agency. Whilst the initial meeting (showing us the property) was positive, the subsequent experience was generally very poor. So far I found the sales manager Tony G (1) not responsive to emails (2) poor in the follow ups. Additionally, he showed very little respect for other people's time which is really lack of professionalism. I should recommend NOT using their service based on this experience.
