Extremely Disappointed – Unacceptable Communication and Serious GDPR Breach Our experience with this estate agent has been nothing short of frustrating and deeply concerning. While they were responsive and attentive when dealing with the buyer, their level of communication with us—who are equally important in this transaction—has been completely inconsistent and unprofessional. Since 12th March, we have received no updates or responses from the agent, despite sending multiple serious and urgent emails. This lack of communication has left us completely in the dark about where we stand. As a result, we are now incurring financial losses of over £6,000 per month since February, with no clear direction or accountability from the agent. To make matters worse, we were shocked to learn that the agent shared our financial advisor’s contact details with the seller without our consent, and even more disturbingly, disclosed sensitive financial information, including our mortgage lender’s name and the amount of the mortgage. This information was only known to the agent and our financial advisor, making this a clear and serious breach of GDPR. The seller has since directly contacted our mortgage broker—something that should never have been possible under professional and ethical conduct. Despite all of this, the agent has failed to respond, even after being sent an urgent email over two weeks ago, explicitly highlighting the financial impact and the need for immediate action. We are now in the process of escalating this matter to relevant governing bodies and higher authorities to report the unacceptable level of service, gross mishandling of personal data, and ongoing financial harm caused by their negligence. This has not only been unprofessional—it has been deeply damaging, and we strongly advise others to proceed with extreme caution.... Read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I called to cancel a viewing which was quite last minute and apologised for the short notice. I was called by Gregory Charteris who berated me for cancelling at short notice and tried to make me feel guilty that the vendor had gone to the trouble of cleaning his home. His behaviour was appalling and I don't think he would have spoken to me this way if I were a man. I have tried contacting Ibbett Mosely to raise my concerns about this unprofessional behaviour, but have had no response.... Read more

We had a wonderful viewing experience with LuLu. As far as agents go she was exceptional, she showed us around two homes in an informative and knowledgable way that did not feel salesy at all. She knew so much about each home and its respective area too, we haven’t made a decision but would feel very comfortable offering and proceeding with her, as she was such a dream to work with. I had the sad responsibility of selling the home of a much loved aunt who died this year. Throughout the whole process from marketing the property, handling the viewings, dealing with the offers, progressing the sale and doing the meter readings at the end I received great support from Ibbett Mosely's Borough Green office. I was kept informed on progress which was particularly important as I live over 30 miles away and Covid restrictions of one type or the other were in operation throughout. Took the property off the market after 8 months with no offers and no viewings for the last 4 months. Plan to put it back on the market in the Spring with the same agent. I felt that the agent did not really push and it was I who instigated two price reductions. I made a cash offer with conplition very fast and no survey a month ago with this agency (branch in borough green) they are very bad in communicating with customers they just will not bother in letting you know what was going on.i was very patience in waiting and was told they were going to wait for the monday coming so we could made a best and final offer but never happened!never told me they sold it without a chance to increase it i had to call after days of not hearing from them. Very unprofessional on the buyer but for sure on the seller also who would have had a chance to get more money!!... Read more
