Ideal Locations is one of the best letting agents. I recently purchased a property in Tilbury, and Subhaan, the representative from Ideal Locations (I got his contact through my brother), arranged a tenant within just two days. He also ensured a guaranteed rent contract was signed promptly.
It has now been 4–5 months, and I have been receiving the rent on time every month without a single day’s delay. The team is very professional and still offers a personalised touch, which really sets them apart. I highly recommend Ideal Locations.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service provided, which is why I'm writing this review. We rented a property from them in 2023 and moved out in November 2024 when the contract ended.
After requesting our deposit back multiple times, we were met with silence. Despite numerous phone calls and emails, they failed to respond or reimburse us. Their constant excuse was that the deposit would be returned "the next day."
It took three months of relentless follow-ups before we finally received our deposit. I hesitated to write this review, but our frustrating experience left us exhausted????

To all the customers who approach ideal locations I am advising you to be more careful you have to go and ask your deposit atleast 1000 times to get a response from them. Such a irresponsible management

**Disappointing Experience with Ideal Locations**
My experience with this agency has been extremely frustrating. While they were courteous and responsive before I signed a rental agreement, things changed drastically afterward. Any issues that arose with the property were ignored until I contacted them multiple times. Their handling of problems was unprofessional and often ineffective.
The worst part was after the contract ended. It took over a month and a half of persistent effort to get my deposit back. They consistently failed to respond to my emails and calls once the contract was over.
I’d especially advise caution when dealing with Akhil and Dalveer. Although they seem friendly at first, my experience suggests that they can be misleading, making promises they don't fulfill.
In summary, I cannot recommend this agency based on my negative experience. Proceed with caution if you choose to work with them.

I had a worst experience with Ideal locations. Though onboarding is a very smooth process for helping in getting a flat But the company is least bothered to address the open issues. The house given to me is not cleaned at all and I had to spend £250 for cleaning. Also, the house has many open issues in the Kitchen and I was unable to use for almost 2 weeks. The response to address the issues at home like water heater and room heater will take ages to resolve with them. They are worst in London. My suggestion is avoid them.

We purchased our first house recently and had a positive experience with Ideal Locations, Craig in particular. He was efficient, really helpful and followed up on our enquiries and answered all of the questions we had in a timely manner. He went above and beyond to ensure our purchase went ahead and completed by the completion date. For example our signed contracts were delayed in reaching the solicitors and to ensure we completed by the date agreed (beneficial for us and sellers) he drove to us to collect a copy of the signed documents and took them to the solicitors early in the morning (who were not local) as we were unable to go there ourselves.
We also faced an issue following a survey on the house and Craig answered all of our questions and helped us resolve the issue so that we were satisfied.
Craig also called us to say congratulations after we had picked up the keys which was nice.
The reason I have given 4 stars is not a reflection on Craig at all. Prior to Craig handling the sale, one of the other agents Sam, who I’m informed is no longer working there, told us that there was an offer on the house which made us put in a higher offer and this later turned out to be false. There was no reason to play that card when we were already interested and would have put in that offer if they had been honest about what the sellers wanted. Also, the communication in the beginning was a bit slow and we were unsure whether our offer was accepted or not for a while as two agents gave us different information which delayed things by a few weeks.
Having said that, we enjoyed working with Craig on the purchase of our first home and overall had a good experience.

This agent gets paid the rent on time from the tenant, but fails to pass it on to the landlord (me) on time. I am constantly having to chase them up. Highly unprofessional, do not respond to emails and I'm forced to call them time and time again to get paid the rent. I've had to manually chase the rent each month for the last 7 months in a row. Staff do not care. I'll be submitting a complaint to The Property Ombudsman. Would not recommend anyone to use this agency.

There is no unsubscribe button and they ignore repeated requests to stop spamming and have my detaila removes from their system.
They are in breach of GDPR and data protection act and I will be reporting them to the ICO so that they can be held to account.
Avoid using this dodgy outfit that need to be shut down.

The worst agency ever! I don't recommend to sign contract with them! I don't recommend to rent property from this agency. If you call, they will tell you that someone will call you back, but this will never happen. You will wait somebody to answer to your emails, but this will not happen. At the end when you leave the property, they will hide and will not give you your deposit back. Also they never put our deposit in any deposit safe account.At the end we have to give our case to solicitors. If you want to work with professional estate agency better stay away from that one. If I could I will give -5*

The worse agency that I have ever dealt with not only in UK.
I am not writing down the review as a sort of revenge, or to be mean. But, to help to someone wondering if they should trust their property to be cared, or to move in one of the properties that this agency manage. There are very mixed reviews, so please carefully check all of them.
We have moved in five years ago, in one of their properties. When we have signed the tenancy agreement, we have paid our deposit and was advised that the codes for the Deposit Protector Scheme, will be sent in the next week or so. Not happened!
We have chased up for the codes numerous times, always assured by Manjit that there is no issue with our money, and when we will be moving out, all will be returned.
Years were passing, our deposit was not protected. In 2021, we were informed that one of their colleagues stole our deposit and two of our rents. When we asked what will happen when we are moving out, we were assured one more time from Manjit, that there will be no issues, even he is ready to cover the amount. Nothing like that happened. Even we were asked by Harpreet to prove that we have paid our last rent.
We had some maintenance issues, reported from one year and a half, which were not fixed even until we have moved out.
We have always paid our rent on time, or earlier, but some of the times delayed to our landlady from their side. So, if you are a landlord, ready to give your property to be managed by them, please bear this on mind.
On the day that we were moving out, the property was checked and reported ‘clean up to standards’. Then the Big chase up started… Every single day I was calling, or texting, or e-mailing, as they were not giving us any information about our deposit. Instead of that we were always advised that someone will call us back, or Manjit and Harpreet were not in the office. After few weeks, Manjit called, promising that all will be sorted out, then disappeared again. I kept calling and e-mailing, no result, until one day Harpreet hang up the phone, then advised that she is not responsible for the case anymore. As we saw that there is no result after 3 months chasing up, we turn out for help to solicitors.
This is just one of the stories you might hear. Of course, I believe that there might be happy customers, and I really hope that the service will improve. However, no one could return our wasted time with them, all the nerves and humiliation for begging for our own money back. The way that they were treating us like annoying them, was absolutely disgraceful!
Take it as a friendly advise, and just search for another agency. I do not want to use words like ‘frauds’ or ‘scammers’, but definitely the agency is neither professional, neither honest. Also, if they say that it is a new Management... Please double check, as until we were with them there were lots of names and accounts changing, but the team is the same.

I wish I could give them a 0 rating. We are the landlords. The tenants have always paid the rent on time, but this agent never passes the rent to us on time. I have been chasing them for the rent for the last two weeks. I called again today, I was told that someone would call me back for sure today. Surprise, surprise, no one called back. Don't worry. We will be logging a formal complaint, then escalate this to The Property Ombudsman if it is not resolved. We are tired of chasing for the rent payment every month. Please don't use this agent if you are a landlord. It takes more time to deal with this one agent than all the other agents and tenants combined every month.

I would rate this branch with 0 stars if possible. I have never written a review before but the shocking level of service I have received from this branch has compelled me to do so. I have constant issues with rent not being forwarded on to me on time and instead sitting on their account, I am still experiencing issues trying to retrieve a deposit which is held in the deposit protection scheme. Worst of all, despite my complaints, the branch is solely dependent on issues being resolved by one particular senior member of the team who constantly promises to call me back only to then ignore my calls.
Avoid using Ideal Locations at all costs!

Manjit Sangha from Ideal Locations assisted me with two property transactions both buying (where they assisted me with finding a mortgage lender and completing on my property back in 2018) and selling (2021) and I would never look to go anywhere else! Manjit was so kind , attentive, helpful and really went out his way to make everything as smooth and quick as it possibly could. They have a new platform for people buying or selling where all communications, documents are uploaded onto a shared portal and shared with all parties in order to complete purchase/ selling between the buyers, solicitors and sellers all completely online. Selling my property was so easy and everything was completed and finished within a matter of weeks, so smooth, easy and stress free! I would not look anywhere else in future but ideal locations when looking to buy or sell another property! Massive thank you again Manjit!

Richard is an amazing hardworking and trustworthy agent. He was always friendly, reliable and extremely professional throughout helping us throughout our entire journey to sell our home.
We struggled initially with larger mainstream agents who didn’t turn up on time, charged ridiculous fees, didn’t care and couldn’t find any potential buyers. Just as we we’re about to give up on hope, we found Richard who completely triumphed over all of the larger agents in a heartbeat!

They are okay. The agent was quite good, responsive and professional. However, the property I bought had about £25-£30k work required which I tried to negotiate only £12k but no luck whatsoever not even £1k. But the estate agency seems far better than many other out there.

Fantastic customer service when buying my new home. They were there to help every step of the way and helped the whole process go much more smoothly. The beggining of the process was quiet stressfull untill the agent jack came to the rescue he was so calm and professional solved the matter with in a couple of hours and handed the keys over to me was very understanding and helpfull kept updatting me with every bit of detail i was very pleased highly reccommend JACK such a lovely person thak you very much for such an amaizing experince .

I would highly recommend Ideal Locations , I have been dealing with them for long time and I can confidently say that they are superb, honest and straightforward people. Buying and selling both are stressful , however you can easily approach Mr Manjit and Shakil anytime. Most of the agents are very tricky in the market but you do not need to worry anything with them, they are very professional and honest
