I'm a buyer and saw a property I wanted to view.
The person I spoke with on the phone was very polite but there was a chain of events that I was not happy about.
- I phoned in the morning asking for a viewing, they said that they'll get the colleague who deals with this area to contact me.
- In the afternoon I rang back as I was waiting for the call, they said the colleague who deals with the area has seen it and will let them know I phoned again.
- Then after a short while I checked Rightmove and it's showing it 'off the market'!.
- I contacted them again and said what had happened and now it's off the market. They said "oh I'll find out and get them to get back to you".
I still haven't had any call from them.

It was a very difficult time when we bought our house, but the staff at Island Homes, were very professional and put our buying experience at ease, taking out the stress, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Chris, Michael, Jenny and Kelly have supported us throughout the whole EWS1 Form crisis. They have kept us updated and reassured they even kept an eye on our empty apartment and watered the plants! We cannot recommend them enough after their service, through what ended up being a very painful two years.

Currently waiting 20+ weeks for them to respond to simple management enquiries to progress a sale of a home, this is now going to require a new mortgage application, at worse rates. They are also the sole blocker in the chain at this point. They ignore all requests and are generally difficult to contact.

They put our chain together for us and provided weekly progress reports. All for only 1% commission - our lowest quote.
