I have been working closely with IW Estates over the last few weeks as they take over the management of my property portfolio. The service I have received has been outstanding and I am impressed with the “due diligence” they have undertaken.
Giving the changing legislation affecting landlords, I feel confident that IW Estates will ensure compliance with the law. I also expect that my tenants will have confidence that issues arising with the property they are renting will be dealt with in a timely manner.
My point of contact is Ellie Smith and she has been outstanding in terms of advising me, creating new tenancy agreements and meeting my tenants. I know that she is supported by others in IW Estates and my thanks go to them as well as to Ellie.
In summary, in my view, a highly professional Company who do everything “by the book” and deserve to do well in the highly competitive lettings business.

We had a couple of estate agents giving us a valuation. Graham from Hunters, we felt had more idea about valuation, due to what our property had to offer. So much so, it was sold in about a week of being on the market. 3 viewings, 3 offers. Around 8% better in value than other estate agents. We felt so at ease phoning Hunters, for advice. Tomorrow we move to Norfolk from Stevenage. So glad we used Hunters as our estate agents.

Dan and Graham at Hunters in Stevenage helped me sell a house following a bereavement. Their service and support was exceptional and I would not hesitate to recommend them to any buyers or sellers out there.
I was new to all aspects of probate and they were kind and patient with me. They explained what would happen every step of the way. The worked closely with our solicitors (Heckford Norton) and chased them when things needed to move fast.

My wife and I have now used Hunters in Old Town Stevenage to rent out our one bed flat for almost two years. Our first tenant was great until she left and we had an issue which Hunters did everything they could to resolve on our behalf. Terrific support which was really appreciated. Our current tenant has been excellent and although there’s issues with any property, leaking tap or toilet flush fails, Hunters are able to help straight away. We could not be more grateful for the excellent customer service and attention to detail provided by the Hunters team. We can’t recommend them enough.

Without a doubt the worst estate agent I’ve ever had to deal with. Admitted they made a mistake in the contract yet still made us pay over £1000 due to it! Dealt with a new person every time and were rude over the phone when attempting to sort it out. A final kick in the teeth was a large cleaning fee not representative of the state of the property on exit. Very disappointed and would give 0 stars if possible.

Twice have spoken with the agent to view properties, twice they have taken my details, twice they have not called back. First time I gave up waiting and arranged through the second agent selling, second I called back later the same day to be told all viewings had gone.
Poor customer service, poor response from staff. Wouldn't recommend if you'd like to get your house sold to people who are interested.
How ironic that it took less time for Hunters to respond to my review than it did to call me back - twice! Think that tells you everything you need to know....

Totally disagree with the review complaining bout Country Properties . I would like to put the record straight for them .
I agree everyone has their views and stories but I disagree with avoiding them like the plague .
We have rented in the old town with them had plumber and heating problems that they have sorted out straight away .
Personally I would recommend them totally as a 5 star letting agent .
