Moving house is far from stress free and our move seemed to go from one sticking point to the next. But we know we would never have got over the line without Jacobs and Hunt.
They always went the extra mile, chasing, cajoling and pushing the chain. Sometimes it seemed like they were the only ones who were trying to make it happen. They were always polite and reassuring, even when things became fraught.
We hope we never have to move again (!) but if we did we would go to Matty and Mike without a moment’s hesitation. We recommend them wholeheartedly

I previously wrote a review of my negative experience of this estate agent (which resulted in me having to seek advice from the Property Ombudsman) but have received a threatening email from them, so have had to remove it.

Really good, friendly team comprising of Mike, Daren (in particular)and Matt and the nice assistant too (can’t remember her name!). I’d all but given up finding my next home so imagine my delight when I got details for a viewing in Petersfield. Yes the place needs lots of working doing to it, but it will be worth it. Daren helped me with moving beyond of what I was seeing and opened my eyes to the potential!

This was my first experience of selling a property. After having a previously poor experience with another estate agent which resulted in very few viewings and little interest, I moved to Jacobs and Hunt to market my property.
A new listing with excellent photos was created quickly and soon there were a large amount of viewings, resulting in an offer before long.
Jacobs and Hunt were attentive and professional throughout the process and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to others.
Matty was attentive, supporting and communicative throughout the entire process.
Due to circumstances outside his or Jacobs and Hunts control, the sale process took longer than I was hoping for. Matty proactively chased up parties when he could, including my own incompetent solicitor (my mistake for that choice!)

The team at Jacobs & Hunt were very helpful throughout the process of us purchasing a house with them.
It took a while to sort out our transaction due to the complicated situation at the property but they kept us updated through out the process. From builders getting quotes for remedial works prior to completion to facilitating a number of viewing as we planned our move.
On the process side they gave us great communication on matters up and down the chain which was very useful indeed.

This is the second property that Jacobs & Hunt have sold for us. We had an elderly relatively who moved from an assisted living apartment block into care. The past year has not been great for selling property, and that is particularly the case for assisted living apartments. Jacob & Hunt pulled out all the stops to find a buyer. And when a buyer was found Jacob & Hunt went above and beyond helping the buyer resolve issues with their own sale, that was being handled by another agent.
Overall, very happy with the service provided and would not hesitate to use again. Jacob & Hunt also manage a property that we rent out in Petersfield - again very pleased with the service.

Not the best. I felt a very negative tone in communication. I provided feedback, timeline and support to Mike, his response was to stop the tenancy agreement. In fairness he did agree to refund my deposit.
An example of a raised issue:
I asked for time to have my tenancy agreement reviewed this was part of response:
Just so that you are aware, we are unable by change anything on the Contract content, only personal details etc if they are incorrect. It is written by a Solicitor and is our standard Tenancy Agreement.
In my opinion anyone signing any contract should be able to ask questions and make proposals, this can be approved or declined. The contract I had was not correct, it showed an insufficient understanding of contracts.

AVOID!!!
This is the worst estate agent ever, very unprofessional.
I rented a property through them, big mistake!
The rent was rarely paid on time, somtimes over a week late. When I questioned them on this they were vague and didn't seem to know what was going on in their own company.
I had a bad tenant who destroyed my house and didn't pay her last rent. Rather than sorting the problem the man on the phone was confrontational and tried to be condescending, unfortunately for him he wasn't very clever and just came across like a confused old man.
They did nothing to chase up this rent. I was shocked but then I found out she was a 'personal' friend of one of the male owners.
AVOID this bad company at all costs.
