Homes of Petersfield have been superb throughout our house sale and also purchase. After a very honest and non pushy initial appraisal things moved quickly and smoothly. We had a couple of offers and accepted one just under asking, 3 weeks after we started the process despite it being school summer holidays. The house we wanted to move to was local, and was also being marketed by homes. After a cash offer from someone else turned out to be flakey, our offer was accepted and 12 weeks later we moved into our amazing new home. We are French residents. Since 2020 we have sold two properties in Petersfield , through Homes. Despite the difficulties of Covid and post-pandemic, both sales went through with minimum drama , even though in the first, in 2021, it took a long time.
In particular the teamwork of the staff is exceptional. Once a sale has been agreed the matter is passed over to the 'sales expediter' who is absolutely superb in co-ordinating buyer, seller, and corresponding solicitors, etc. She calmed us down when we might have panicked, and nudged us if we were falling behind. Every estate agents office should have such a person.
Communications between us and Homes were above average, in spite of the potential difficulties of our being in another country. We recommend them very highly.

After Charlie had established that we were committed to the purchase he kept us well informed as the negotiation proceeded briskly to a sale agreement. I felt listened to and was given sensible guidance with no over promising. During the process I was kept informed at every stage. I never had to ask what was happening. The Homes team are a nice group and I'm sure they did their best, but the time we spent selling through them was a bit cringe-worthy. Ultimately they didn't sell our home and our lives were disrupted pretty extensively for 6-months.
It appeared that their approach is to list houses at a low price to drive interest rather than 'sell' the house for the right price to the right person. But, to reiterate, they were perfectly pleasant to liaise with.

I have used other estate agents before and a lot of the time they came with no information or knowledge of the property, but this was not the case of my experience with Homes. They clearly make sure their employees turn up to the property knowing the house and willing to help find the right home.
I had been in contact with Olesia from the Petersfield branch for over a year and she has shown me a number of properties. On each occasion her high professionalism, attention to detail and communication was very important in my process of purchasing a property. During the Covid pandemic she followed the rules and provided PPE to view the property.

Unfortunatley we had a terrible experience with Homes Estate Agents who purposley and provably misled us about the status of the property we were purchasing through them. A very long, stressful and complicated purchase followed. The after sales team were so poor we ended up talking to the sellers directly as Homes refused to pass on our communication or give us any of the information we asked for. Whilst you expect Estate Agents to bend the truth a little, what we experienced could have had a very serious financial impact for us and led to many months of anguish for both their client and us. We really hope Homes Estate Agents consider how much of an emotionally stressful impact their conduct can have on their clients and buyers during what is naturally a stressful process as it is.

Having decided to rent in the Petersfield area, I found the perfect property for my future home on the Rightmove website, as advertised through Homes Estate Agents.
Having contacted Homes Letting Services I was given a same day viewing and at my request for a speedy entry, I moved in 6 days later. The whole process was flawless. The Liphook based lettings and property management team, especially Mike, Mandy and Olivia couldn't have been more professional and helpful.

We recently moved from London to Liss Forest thanks to Homes of Petersfield. Right from the start Simon & Ollie were great in helping us to find the suitable house for our move. it was not a seamless transaction from a chain perspective but they managed to keep us sane along with Hannah and Lidia in the sales progression team!
I would say don't go anywhere else if you want a new house in the Petersfield area!

Homes at Homes Petersfield offered my wife and I a world class service. They were always on the end of the phone, keeping us updated and helping us with the entire process of moving home.
The process was a bit of a bumpy one (through no fault of Homes), yet throughout the team at Homes were understanding, polite and helpful. Simon was fantastic at showing us round properties and taking time to answer our questions.
Ollie worked closely with us when things weren't great, and kindly helped us make the right choices when we were stuck.
Last but not least, Karen was a hero throughout! She dealt with our difficult situation with professionalism and gave us the feeling she was always there for us.
I want to share my thanks to all the team at Homes, and I will certainly be recommending them to our friends and family in the future!

I found the Lettings team at Homes (based in Liphook and Alton) to be very friendly, approachable and helpful from the word go. They are quick and efficient and nothing is a problem. They rented my house very quickly and everything has gone very smoothly. They have always been available to help with any query, and immediately communicated with me over any issues that need resolving. I also liked the information they gave before I signed up to let my house with them - it was clear and easy to read with no jargon. They gave me the most thorough information compared to other agents, and so far I am very happy with the service I have received from them.
