I was always told, if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it all so I don’t tend to bother with bad reviews but I am sat here thinking about my experience with Jeremy McGinn and felt really annoyed. Someone asked me how I got on with a property I liked and I had to say, I put in an offer and no one EVER got back to me. It was a real offer, not bogus, not too low and was something I was really interested in. I just never heard back even after calling and sending two emails to follow up. There are some super agencies around, I would if you can, give these guys a wide birth!... Read more

Contacted the agent back in August 2024, this was a difficult sale because the lease needed an extention. New buyer found and was kept interested in the sale. Lease was successfully extended by the solicitor and sale went ahead in early July. The delay in sale was in no way the fault of the agent in fact they kept my buyer and myself fully informed and the deal with the lease was completed. Incredibly difficult to reach on the telephone and most of the time have to leave messages which are not returned. We wanted to put an offer in on a house but were unable to speak to anyone until the following day. They are dismissive of potential buyers if you are not ‘proceedable’’. Some of the staff are lovely but others are quite rude - asking if we could afford the costs of necessary refurbishments, and hanging up the telephone when querying why they didn’t return my call from the previous day. Extremely poor service from this estate agent. We placed an offer on a house (which was over the asking price) and were waiting to hear back from one of the estate agents who promised to call back the same day. No phone call was received even though we left messages and spoke to a different individual at the branch who promised we would be called back. After a week of waiting for a phone call we looked at the Jeremy McGinn website to see the house we had put an offer on had been sold to somebody else. This was not communicated to us in any way. When we phoned up to ask why they had sold the house we had put an offer on without telling us, they gave the poor excuse that the particular member of staff had been very busy, despite having a week to get back to us and only needing to make a short phone call.
