We were very pleased with the professional photos taken, and with the marketing of our property. We had plenty of viewings and a firm offer which has since been completed. The staff are extremely friendly and willing to answer questions - they could possibly have liaised a bit more towards the end of the conveyancing when nobody knew why there were hold-ups, but this is a small issue. On the whole we were very happy with their service.

In six months they introduced just two purchasers despite telling me they had loads of viewers looking for bungalows like mine.,I pointed out the good points and the negative ones. Could not have given more information, The young man who came l would commend for doing his best with totally unsuitable

Our experience with Luke and Ellie at John Francis in Cardigan has been extremely disappointing. Their marketing efforts were lacking from the start. Our property was not advertised in their window or as a featured/premium property on Rightmove as discussed at our appraisal, we had to request any additional social media promotion, and overall, there was no proactive approach to generating interest.
A major issue arose when we discovered incorrect property details on a neighbouring listing, making our property appear far smaller by comparison even when our property was significantly larger. Instead of correcting the mistake, they removed accurate details from our own listing without consultation with us. A more accurate course of action would have been to remove the neighbouring property's incorrect details instead.
Communication has been poor throughout, with emails and questions going unanswered or with poor explanations. Most shockingly, we discovered that our property had been removed from Rightmove (this was their response to my query regarding terminating our agreement with them) without any communication or explanation from the team. We had to find this out ourselves, as the agency made no effort to inform us. Even when I called to investigate this, instead of calling me back I simply received an email skirting around the issue.
This lack of professionalism and transparency has completely eroded our trust in John Francis. If you are looking for an agent that is proactive, communicative, and reliable, we would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I certainly won't be using them , or Connells/Countrywide ever again following this appalling experience. A huge amount of time and effort wasted!

All staff here are very polite and helpful from beginning to the end.
Anything they could do to help they would do and go above and beyond to help. Was very happy with their service they provide and would recommend anyone to pop in if they are looking to buy their first home or if they are thinking of moving.

Hayley Grota from the Cardigan branch has been fantastic throughout our purchase - she communicated with all parties involved without hesitation and was extremely pro-active in keeping things moving and understanding the situation. I would recommend Hayley to any prospective clients - there was no question as to her full support at any time....
The only down side was when we collected keys, they were handed through a closed door with no welcome pack or confirmation that we were the owners - no I.D or introductions in person - the actual customer service on the day we collected the keys from the office was quite disappointing after waiting over 5 months and dealing with countless challenges - it was a bit of a let down having become excited new home owners and the keys just handed through the office door in an old brown envelope like they had just been lying around on the desk....
Hayley`s service was the best part of the whole transaction....... :)

In addition to our property, they have just sold my mothers bungalow. She has previously had bad experiences with Estate Agents, letting buyers move into her house before completion & under-pricing her property in order to get a quick sale, (and the list goes on.)
She has nothing but praise for this team. They gave her a fantastic valuation price and sold the bungalow very quickly indeed. There were the usual up's & down's of conveyancing, but everything was dealt with quickly and professionally. It made the process stress-free for her, and at ninety-years-old, she couldn't have wished for a better service.

When we were looking to buy a house in Pembrokeshire a few years ago we viewed dozens of houses and had dealings with all the local estate agents. Back then John Francis was always the best, always the most proactive and well-informed. That's why we chose John Francis when the time came to sell our house.
Daniel's extensive knowledge of property in the area meant we got a very fair valuation on the property, he spent a long time with us taking some really good photos, and the rest of the team were fantastic for the entire time it took to sell the house. Our house had quite a few quirks and wasn't suitable for a lot of people, so we had to do a lot of viewings but the staff at John Francis Cardigan kept going and continued to keep us informed and provided feedback on every viewing.

Lack of knowledge and enthusiasm of the property. Not shown around, just left to wander around and didn't know info concerning council tax band and just told to look on web. Fees are overpriced and not competitive when compared to smaller firms.
